Makes pictures a thing
This is my second Instax printer having previously owed the SP-3 previous. I bought the instax square on a whim and am quite happy with it. First up like the SP-3 is uses the square instax paper. Essentially it produces photos similar in style to polaroid pictures of the "olden days". i.e unlike som other printers you can buy its not just a square picture with an unprinted white border. The photopaper is a bit pricey but the photo produced I think is at least something to show for it. The printer requires an iOS/Android app to use the printer and enables you to print of any phots stored on your device. I just take square pictures by default on my phone so pictures match the square paper. You can make basic adjustments to colour etc is you want to oversaturate colours to replicate the randomness of the old polaroid cameras. Prince speed is fairly quick and you get to see the picture "develop" on the paper. Inserting the photo cartridge is easy and the printer itself is charger via USB-C. Battery life is fair a not an issue given the overall cost of the paper (you are not really going to churn out 100 prints at a time so the battery does not need to last that long). I mention I had the previous SP-3 printed and the build quality on this one while okay Does not seem to be as robust (or with a four to top quality) it almost like things where redesign with a view to reduce costs. It's by no way cheep quality but a step down in my opinion. With little in the way of moving parts I double much will go wrong with it and the battery is easily accessible so I would imagine this can be replaced if needed. It is really nice to be able to have to odd print of pictures that are more special than the 1000 other ones on your phone and its good to be able go give someone an actual picture of the group photo you just took. Easy for a grandparent to stick it on the fridge as well. I really hope Fujifilm keep the photo format supported going forward.

It's not value for money but I love it
Background: I'm a photographer. Not loaded so I'm a budget specialist. For my exhibitions I send my images to the printer. I got fed up of endless digital images just on a drive to view on a screen so I researched the market for something Polaroid-ish for my other images. Having several Polaroid cameras I enjoy the tangability and almost immediacy of a printed film image and that's the spirit I wanted to capture by having this Instax Square. I love the square format and when I'm on the go it's nice to print a little image for someone while out n about. This comes with my own personal caveat... Process it on your phone. The blacks are smush otherwise and shadow detail can be lost in the print unless that is your intention. I use my Fuji cameras and an old Samsung Note 5 for Instax prints. The picture quality once I learnt the characteristics of the print works well for me with a few reprints as the blacks and shadows were crushed. I find there's a blue hue to my prints and I've gone through an album full of prints. If that's not to your liking you can edit. Syncing to my Note 5 or via Fujifilm cameras has been easy. You'll have to register your serial number against the free app on Googleplay. The film pack is easy as to insert. The film packs aren't cheap but for me and my personal work it's worth it. The printer has a weird rubber cover for the charger and mine hasn't fully closed since I opened it. It's no big deal to me but aesthetically a bit of rubber jutting out isn't pretty. Anyway, I hope my review helps you decide what you go for.

Perfect Protection for Your Instax Square Link
I bought the official INSTAX Square Link Smartphone Printer case just over a year ago now to protect my new printer, and I'm so glad I did! This case is incredibly sturdy and well-made. It feels very firm and has already proven its worth. We actually dropped our printer while on a trip, and thanks to this case, it was completely unscathed! Not only is it protective, but it's also practical. The case has compartments to hold extra Instax film and charging cables, which is super convenient for travel. Plus, the woven gray finish looks really nice and complements the printer perfectly. Overall, I highly recommend this case to anyone with an Instax Square Link printer. It's a great investment that will keep your printer safe and looking good.

One very happy daughter!!
Super easy to use. Bought as a Christmas gift for our 13 year old daughter. It occurred to us that in this modern world, the children had never had the fun of printing out their images - have to admit that rose tinted memories of fun Polaroid afternoons was a motivator! Love the retro feel of the prints, the children still think it is complete magic when the image appears in front of their eyes! Easy to connect and simple to operate. A couple of things I will mention is that you may have to reset the device if it doesn’t respond. There is a pin hole button by the charging socket, just press it in for a couple of seconds then you should be good to go. We’ve only had to do this once since Christmas Day. Also, don’t open the cartridge cover until all the prints are used. We did this first off when the device wasn’t responding. After opening/closing the cover it thinks it has a new cartridge in and feeds out a blank photo (this would be the cover sheet if it was a new cartridge) Not a massive issue but will save you wasting a photo - like we’ve done… twice! 🙄 Prints work out at between 80 - 85 pence depending on the pack size. Would recommend!

Fun ptinter
It reminds of an old fashion instamatic camera and It took me a while to figure out how to print as it was not straight forward. But overall a good little printer.

This is essentially a toy for adults and possibly older teens. This is not going to give you high quality pictures. This is so you can have fun with friends like on a trip etc. Have the right expectations and you will enjoy it.

The Fujifilm Instax Share SP-3 has been one of my favorite gadgets. It’s a fantastic way to print photos straight from your phone onto Fujifilm’s square format film, which is larger and better quality than standard instant prints. I love that you can choose your best phone photos and turn them into memories you can hang up or share, instead of carrying around a Polaroid camera and hoping for a good shot. The print quality is excellent, and the process is quick and easy. Even after three years, my SP-3 is still working perfectly. If you like the look of instant photos but want more control and better image quality, this is absolutely the way to go. The only real downside is the app—it’s not the most modern-looking, and sometimes feels a bit outdated or unstable. There aren’t a ton of features, and it could definitely use an update. Still, despite this minor issue, I’ve had a great experience and I’d definitely recommend the printer. Summary A top-quality, fun, and reliable instant printer. Even if the app isn’t perfect, the overall experience is excellent—highly recommended for anyone who wants to turn their digital photos into real keepsakes.
