Sentry Pet Care Enzymatic Dog Toothpaste 6.2oz Tube

Petrodex was my go-to a few years ago as it was available in the US, and toothbrushing time with the dogs was always fun, happy, and treat quality time, and I never really appreciated it as I should. Since moving to the UK, I have tried many different kinds of toothpaste, they always smelled a bit too minty for my dogs —obviously, many are designed for the humans (purchasers )to smell the dog’s fresh breath, but we know dogs like meaty flavours, and healthy teeth are vital, therefore I rather my dog enjoys brushing their teeth and smelling meaty, rather than having a minty fresh breath but struggle to care for their teeth—, Put in mind that even if my dogs initially liked other toothpaste flavours, the fresh minty smell or no smell, or light smell, will eventually make them less satisfied with it fast, and I can’t get to finish a whole brushing session without enticing them with different treats, which defeats the object, especially if it’s around sleeping time. Another problem I found is that other toothpaste products don’t remove discolouration as quickly as Petrodex, so you have to brush for longer and to reach the back of the mouth when your dog doesn’t like its toothpaste taste or smell is no happy task. I will not attempt even to pay a penny on other products anymore there is no point. Happy I can get it in the UK now, teeth brushing is back now to be a happy, exciting grooming session and I really appreciate it. Sorry, I didn't take a picture before I just didn't realise how much I can get done from brushing with Petrodex only once.

I noticed a build up of thick, nearly brown coloured plaque on my Jack Russell's back teeth along with not-so-fresh breath. I brush her teeth about once a week with some cheapish dog toothpaste so I upped it to everyday but didn't notice an improvement, so I decided to invest in some better toothpaste, after only 2 days of brushing after both her morning and evening meals, there is a dramatic improvement, the teeth have gone from brown to light yellow and even white in places, her breath is still a bit stinky so can't tell an improvement in that yet but the teeth are looking amazing already. She loves the taste of the toothpaste, she didn't mind the cheaper stuff but she's definitely more eager for this one, to me is smells just like chicken juices so no wonder she's interested. Fantastic product that some may consider pricey but it definitely works and I'm happy to pay a little more for something that actually does the job, highly recommended!

Not been using it long but my dogs teeth seem to look better, he likes the taste which makes things easier. Bit expensive but anything for your dogs are.

I have been using this paste which is quite expensive, for about 2 weeks, and to be honest I haven't found a difference as yet, maybe it will take a little longer.

I used to use this on my two previous Westie's, when a Vet tells you at ages 11 and 13 that your dogs teeth are remarkable, that is proof in itself. Please buy and give this a try, clean teeth and no smelly breath !

Great stuff that works by fizzzing on the teeth my dog hates having his teeth done but the flavour didn’t do his head in,he still sulked but put up with it been using it a while now ,it certainly lasts a good while have hardly made any indentation into the bottle do not be thinking bout buying a small tube they last no time this actually lasts a lot longer and actually fills the tube,looks like it’s starting to work some brown is getting lighter,

唯一効果がわかる歯磨きだと思います。切れてしまって新しく取り寄せるまで一ヶ月経ってしまったのですが、Petrodex を使わなかった一ヶ月で歯の状態がとても悪くなりました。いろいろな歯磨きを試してみましたが、効果が実際わかる歯磨きはこれだけです。

It has a liver taste and hence your pooch won't hesitate to brush. Plus the properties are quite good for their dental health. I would recommend to give it a try. Brush 3-4 times a week with small quantity on a soft bristle toothbrush. Recommended.

La razon para comprar este producto es que buscando un dentífrico para mi perro, descubri que esta marca en particular suele aparecer en casi todas las listas de recomendaciones, asi que decidi hacer la prueba. Un detalle a tomar en cuenta es que tiene una fecha de caducidad larga (aprox 2 años), mientras que otras mas efectivas para limpieza caducan en solo 2 semanas despues de abierto el producto. Una de las cosas que mas me sorprendio es que esta hecha con autentica carne de pavo, que es justamente la razon por la que los perros adoran que les laven la boca con este producto. Curiosamente, no tiene olor. No huele a nada, y el perro tampoco huele después de cepillado. Sin embargo, a medida que la utilizas van desapareciendo el enrojecimiento de las encías, el sarro y el mal aliento. Por ultimo, el tubo de pasta tiene el doble de tamaño que cualquier otra marca en el mercado. El tamaño estandar es de 6 onzas, mientras que la competencia viene en presentaciones de 2.7. Si checas calidad vs tamaño, rendimiento y resultados, cuesta menos y hace mas.

Pup loves this toothpaste. It makes brushing so easy. In just a few weeks using it, I see improvement (top is today and bottom is before). He never had bad teeth to begin with as he’s only one year old. It is just the back teeth that show plaques and Tatar. Plaques are mostly gone, and I expect tar tar needs more time.
