Great for middle aged people at festivals.
Works a charm - takes the edge of the sound volume which means reduced risk of acoustic trauma and no post gig ear-ringing. Also comfortable enough to sleep in if your festival tent is next to a generator (nice for light in the loos at night, not so nice for sleeping....unless you have these in!)

Amazing for festivals
Having attended festivals for over 7 years, it was heartbreaking when I returned home from one suffering from tinnitus, which has unfortunately stayed with me ever since. After 3 years of avoiding all live music, I was recommended these ear plugs and it's safe to say I can start watching music live again. They basically turn the music down a couple of notches, while still allowing you to hear vocals and instruments clearly. If anything, they cut out a lot of the harsher sounds from very loud music. I had these in for a full 10 hours and they were really comfortable - I barely noticed they were in there. The best thing - no ringing in my ears afterwards, even though I was front and centre for a lot of it. These are a must buy for any music lovers.

Good earplugs, let down by accessories and pricing
The actual earplugs themselves are comfortable and do a good job at reducing volume without totally muffling whatever you're listening to. They preserve the highs a lot better than other earplugs I have tried, and they don't let in too much bass, i.e. they do sound relatively flat (compared to other brands). If you want better than this you're going to have to go for a pricey custom fit pair. They are let down by the accessories and so lose a star. The case is soft, combined with the clip it is bulky, the zip feels like it might open in your pocket and the earplugs may go missing. I wouldn't bother with the 'cord'. It's a cheap thin string with cheap plastic clips. The cleaning spray is pointless, the instructions tell you to wash with soap and water before using the spray, and this does a good job of cleaning them so I'm not sure what the point of the spray is, other than a waste of plastic and money.I would recommend based on the performance of the earplugs alone if you value a flatter requency response, but alpine could produce a much more appealing offering by simply selling the earplugs + an aluminium carrying tube for slightly less money (they do this for their other products, why not this one?). The current pricing is a bit steep for what you get.

By far my personal favourite earplugs
These earplugs are phenomenal, to put it simply. With my other options being foamies or the more expensive sennheiser offering, these ones have the right level of sound reduction without overly killing certain frequencies. Both foam earplugs and the sennheiser ones I have block out far too much sound, leaving just muffled bass. These plugs give me the full spectrum of sound with very little fidelity lost. Had my current pair for about a year and will definitely be replacing them with the same ones when they get lost or break. The supplied case is terrible however, and I've started to notice the clips on the cord that attach the earplugs have started to come loose after a year of raves. They're comfortable. Will be back for more

Would be great but a little small
This had great reviews and looks great but unfortunately is too small for my ear canal.Very soft silicone material and can hardly feel it in my ear. Just doesn’t seal and falls out. When in doesn’t give that isolation feel and you can hear everything well.

Great for festivals
I have previously used soft memory foam ear plugs for music that is too loud at live events. These work much better at allowing a balanced level of sound through. They're super easy to put in, and easy to remove. They are reasonably comfortable, though I did start to find they caused a little bit of awkward pressure after around an couple of hours of use.The noise blocking effect is moderate, good enough to protect hearing at a standard loud music event. However if you've got a sound engineer / DJ who's turned the volume up to inappropriately stupid, these still won't cut it for preventing hearing damage, so I'd still recommend taking blocking memory foam ear plugs as a back-up.

Great ear protection for concerts
I've used these for a lot of rock concerts and they make me enjoy it so much more. I don't have ringing ears afterwards and struggle to hear things the following day. I can hear the music more clearly as I'm not being deafened. Really discreet and I use the cable to stop me losing them. I've noticed a lot of people use ear protection now at concerts which is great!

Low expectations and completely blown away at how good these are
For the price, I didn't expect much from these. First trip out to indoor club (disco). Completely saved my ears. Sure, the sound is muffled, so you lose the top end treble and left with quite a base note, but what I was trying to achieve was to save my ears, not have a high quality audio experience. Easy to clean, comes with a neat place to store and save. What's not to love!

Protects but not at the expense of the music
Wore these to a concert that was very important to me. I have tinnitus and so keeping that from increasing was also super important. Well, the claims for this product are correct! The music was not compromised, and neither was my experience. I even took one out to check, because it seemed like I was wearing nothing! And all the music and nuance was there, and so was the crowd experience, just, as the description says, with the volume turned down. They werent uncomfortable. Best of all, after a fabulous concert, I removed them, and there was NO increase or difference in my tinnitus. I had an amazing experience and feel like my hearing was properly protected. Recommend these highly.

Efficace

100 % recomendables.
