Will this work on cracks?

It would work just to fill in but it would not stop from the crack to spread. I would suggest StonePro Traverfill Pro Adhesive. This works great in repairing and filling cracks and voids. Here is a link to the product. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08X13Z8XR?ref_=cm_sw_r_cp_ud_dp_4C8DND1DJSY217JQAHSN

Can you use this product on travertine tile OUTSIDE?

There is no harm in using it outside. But because it's cementitious, it can erode faster if exposed to constant water, strong winds & other weather conditions.

Will this work for travertine installed in a shower?

We used it on a kitchen floor and it worked great there. We don't know about in a shower, but wouldn't hesitate to try it. Just let it dry well before using the shower.
