Does this help with brown spots?

No on brown spots. But it helps crepe skin smooth out, helps eyelash growth or loss and doesn't bother the eyes. I have used mink oil for 30 years and love it.

Shampoo or leave in Mink oil for hair

I am confident it would not hurt your hair; but it is not a shampoo. Touch of Mink does have a shampoo on their website. I use the Mink Oil on my dry hands and neck. Once or twice a day, I put it on my hands before I apply the Touch of Mink Lotion.
