Okay I'm not a kid. So you say, why a kids book?
I ordered Easy "Recorder Lessons for Kids" because I don't read music and I needed a starting point so I can maybe encourage my very young grandchildren to follow in my footprints. I'm really just trying to get them interested in something musical early. This book was a grand slam. This was a great purchase. The focus is on instruction. It teaches you how to hold properly. Each of the notes, there's online instruction to go along with it. So many songs!!! Something for everyone. (The songs are for a young audience)

Love it
I absolutely love the fact that you can Scan the QR code and watch the YouTube video from the author for each song. It shows the children, or whomever is learning, what it is supposed to sound like should they not be familiar with the song. it also shows that she herself is not perfect because in one of them she makes mistakes. This is fantastic for children because it lets them know that even those who are teaching us can make mistakes but we must keep going just like the author does!!

I’m going buy another one of these books!!
I got this book for a student. I had no idea I would want one too, but I do! It’s sequential and full of lots of helpful information and recorder songs! The author even gives a link for PDFs as well as for her video and audio tutorials. I’m excited about learning from her one step at a time! Thanks Avgusta Udartseva! for a musical family
Playing the flute is good not only for musical development, but also for the general development of children, even if they do not become musicians in the future. My children are musical, so I'm glad that I now have this manual. The book has theoretical and practical parts: audio and video materials, songs to be played on the flute. This, in my opinion, is a good additional tool in the process of musical education of a child.

This book is amazing!
I got a recorder for kids several years ago, but somehow it turned out to be very challenging to find simple instructions how to play it in one place. This book is a treasure for someone who wants to learn how to play a recorder without any prior knowledge. The instructions are very clear, the choice of the song is perfect. Would highly recommend!
