I love, love, LOVE them! Excellent instruction. Having the ability to stop the dvd and practice the technique is awesome. He instructions in such a way that you can see how much paint to load in the brush, the motion of the strokes, the illusion you want to achieve, etc. Never painted in my life, but this is WONDERFUL.

EVEN IF YOU DON'T WANT TO TRY PAINTING, JUST WATCHING HIM AND LISTENING TO HIS SOFT CALM VOICE, IS RELAXING, HUGE BONUS, NO COMMERCIAL INTERRUPTIONS

Nine one hour episodes, created as instructional painting guides, with a half-hour episode from the Joy of Painting series. Wonderfully detailed and complete, its price tag may seem a tad high. But please note educational material is always going to cost twice or more than material for entertainment. For the price I could have gotten three brand new 25 episode anime sets. Or four used ones. Or six short, semi-new, 13 episode, anime sets. Or 10 happy meals. And the price will likely only go up. But it is a must for those of you who wish to learn how to paint or are fans of the great, late Bob Ross. Each episode is a self-contained class, in which he explains what materials are needed, how to set up your work space, tools, use of the brushes and how to set up the canvas. THEN he gets into color, light, shape, background, and so-on. He is a wonderful teacher as long as his calm voice does not put you to sleep. A star was removed only for the price which, as I said, is pretty high. Maybe a tad too high.

I thoroughly enjoyed this series, "the BoB" is just delightful! I have never had any formal art lessons and wanted to learn some basic techniques so I ordered the series. Bob Ross's kind, persistant teaching method (and the rewind function) walked me through the basics in a very clear and enjoyable manner. At the end of the day I had a lovely painting to encourage more efforts. It was great! I would highly recommend this series. My sister, Mom and I did two paintings together. We had a blast and hung our paintings on the wall when all was done. Since then I have purchased more Bob Ross DVDs as gifts. So far everyone loves him and there are several more fledgling painters enjoying their new passion! Thanks, Bob!

Excelente el curso. Las explicaciones son fáciles de seguir. Es importante tener el.material necesario (pintura liquida) para que la tecnica wet on wet funcione.

Definitivamente un buen curso de pintura, contiene ejemplos magníficos de paisajes y un gran tributo magistral para el excelente pintor Bob Ross.

Es multiregion, no hay problemas en los reproductores. El detalle es de que el español al que viene doblado solo es en el primero disco, el resto esta en ingles. Si te gusta Bob Ross, es una buena compra. Cabe mencionar que los compré para verlos en español (realmente todos se pueden ver en ingles en la pagina oficial de Bob Ross de YouTube

Los años han pasado, ¿Seguros qué incluye idioma en español latino? En la portada de la colección dice Inglés y Aleman.
