Take your time applying, its well worth it...
I am not a big reviewer BUT this made my hair gorgeous. I am almost 60 never colored my hair and not too much gray but its beginning and fast. My Hair is long, thinnish and medium brown, used to be a towhead blonde when very young, slowly browned and finally graying. Its a little messy to do but well worth it. I used a rich hair oil and green hot tea. Heated up 2 oz. hair oil added to 3 tablespoons of henna light brown powder (green color), was nice goopy and green. Added the hot tea slowly to make a 8 ounce glass jar of fluffy paste; well emulsified, mixed well. Turned my dry head of hair upside down in huge sink and slowly massaged in tablespoons all thru scalp to ends. I packed it on, didn't use plastic gloves, slight hand staining but washed off easy with soap. Rolled up my hair in a bun and covered with plastic wrap for hour plus. Wanted to go overnight but was too tired. Rinsed well but not enough to get all oil out. I purposely left some in and went to bed with towels on my pillows. Washout second time with minimal shampoo again, no sulfates ever. The grey was golden and hair was ultra soft. Look forward to doing it again and leave in longer. Smelt nice like the rich hair oil I used. Hair is nice and shiny-love it, I feel brand new :)

Amazing & on point
Omg... Love this stuff. I chose a light brown mostly to cover the 10% grey. I am so impressed. The light brown covered perfectly & it created a slight color variation with my darker natural hair. Process was an easy application, resting & washout. It was instantly on point. It was never too dark or too much, and didn't need time for a rest/ tone down time. I will definitely be buying this again. I wish I would have done this years ago. So shiny, soft & healthy. Update: 2nd Use & not disappointed. See pics. I feel 10 years younger & definitely more confident. No more greys. Looks so natural & soft.

Works well
I had strawberry blond hair as a young women, as I aged it darkened to light brown with a reddish cast. Now that I'm 64, it's probably about 30% gray and the contrast between the gray and brown isn't enough to be very attractive in my opinion. I decided to try the Light Brown Henna hair color. I followed the directions and it was a little messy but not difficult to do. The only reason I'm giving this product 4 stars rather than 5 is the directions, while pretty detailed in most areas, don't tell how much of the powder to use. I made the 16 oz of hot tea they recommend and ended up using about 1/2 of the powder to get the correct consistency. This was about twice as much as I needed to color my hair which is about to my shoulder blades. There isn't anything in the directions about keeping left over mixed product so I don't know if I can use it later or if I should toss it. Besides that, I'm very happy with this product. I put the powder, tea and olive oil mixture in a dish detergent bottle to apply it to my hair. Be warned, the mixed product looks dark green colored, but my hair didn't turn green! The majority of my gray is much better blended with my brown hair; the total color is light brown with a reddish cast. It looks very natural. I would recommend this product, just start with about 1/4 of the container and see if you need to make more rather than making a lot of it and wondering what to do with the leftover.

Doesnt work
Got this to cover my white hairs. Followed instructions mixed with freshly brewed espresso, and left on for 1 hr. It did absolutely nothing to cover them and my hair generally absorbs everything. Not this though... this did nothing. And its a nonreturnable item.

Light brown is more dishwater blonde green hue
I chose the light brown to highlight my grays in my medium brown hair and it turned my grays a yellow gold with a greenish hue. Maybe it’s just my hair, but this light brown color is more blonde maybe dishwater blonde. I think the product is overall good especially because it’s natural. My hair is shiny and feels nice. I just don’t like the color I will order a darker brown to redo it. Hopefully the green hue disappears.

Amazing results! Highly recommended!
So I wanted to share with you all thus great all natural product I got that is a light brown hair dye. Following the directions on the QR code, you simply mix the power with water. But here's an important tip I read that,"If you wish to avoid redish toned mixed with hit coffee." It also says its heat activated, so by substituting the hot coffee in place of water, you eliminate red tones and activate the heat simultaneously. After mixing this, I poured it into an old water bottle and shook it. Then, I dipped an old toothbrush in the water bottle cap filled with the hair dye solution and applied generously several times until the grey was covered completely. For me, I only have this slight stubborn grey on the temples, so I simply brush it on with the toothbrush in the morning. It's available through Amazon. Highly recommend. Save wasting your money at the hair salon and exposing yourself to chemicals. And it's only $7.95! #rainbowhennahairdye

Natural Henna
Long story short, this is the most natural henna I was able to find on the market, no dangerous metallic salts, no PPDs that are actually carcinogenic, this 'rainbow' company is like the Saint between all henna dyes. Other henna dyes use PPDs that can damage your organs, please I would like to say that to everyone- be VERY careful what henna dye you will buy. Currently I still enjoy the color of Rainbow natural henna dye even after 4 weeks, I used the light brown henna. But even after having such great experience with this henna dye, I no longer will buy henna since I cannot lighten up my hair- henna only deposits color, henna cannot make your hair lighter, which is fine for somebody that only needs to cover their greys or their lighter colored hair. That being said, it is an amazing natural product, but I will go back to more commercial dyes since I am a brunette and I really, really love lightening my hair, one more thing- this color covered my highlights- my 'bad' highlights that were not looking very natural, it was still worth it, good experience generally speaking.

Beautiful color!!!
I have dark ash blonde (well, really it looks more gray) hair with about 10% grays in it. However, I’m really not fond of the gray tone, and was looking to cover my grays and eliminate the cool tones in my hair. I was hoping for a nice warm brown with golden or caramel highlights. I had colored my hair light blonde for decades, but decided I wanted to use something more natural and less damaging to my hair. I chose the light brown henna thinking it would be closest in depth of color to my own. After washing my hair and rinsing it with apple cider vinegar, I mixed the henna with boiling water and 1 1/2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar, and applied it. I have short hair, and it wasn’t too difficult. I covered it with a plastic cap, and went out in the sun for several minutes to heat it up, then wrapped it with a towel and left it on my hair for a total of one hour. The result was perfectly colored, warm brown hair with beautiful coppery highlights. It has turned out a bit darker than my natural color, but I’m thrilled with the results, and definitely will continue to use this henna!!
