Love this film!
Watched this film many years ago... and although it is scary, it was a great film to watch, full of Suspense just how a film should be. I had been looking for this on DVD for years and I thought i found it a while back, but turned out to be the wrong DVD..lol Anyway I came across this film and was delighted to see a Roadkill 2 & 3 as well, I haven't watched this film again as yet just been so busy, but i plan too very soon. I brought Roadkill 2 as well, so will probably watch them on two separate nights.. i will get Roadkill 3 too....im not a great lover of films like this but i did enjoy watching this film... i think it was because i used to be a CB user many years ago.. shhhh cant give too much away... watch the film you'll find out... have pop corn ready, and your cushion..LOLOL ( to hide your face on the scary bits).... Enjoy!....

Quite good movie with some tense edge-of-seat moments!
Brilliantly acted by the late Paul Walker. He and his on-screen brother wind up a trucker on a CB radio but little do they know, they are messing with the wrong guy - 'Rusty Nail', who is not so forgiving. They are pursued relentlessly across the US highways and it seems there is no escape from this psychotic trucker, or is there? It's worth watching and doesn't become a bore like some movies with some edge-of seat moments, even though Paul Walkers on-screen brother comes across as quite irritable at times, I would still recommend watching this movie.

Average
This film was entertaining definitely, I wasn't bored when watching and some of the suspense was very well done. The acting is fairly good for most of the characters and the story line is good too. By no means would I watch it again or rave about it but I did enjoy it and didn't find it a waste of time. It was quite predictable at times too, especially the ending. Just an average film, kept me entertained can't ask for much more!

Stuck in 1st gear
A psycho lorry driver terrorizes 2 guys and a girl. Not very good throughout; pretty awful script, not at all believable situations, unlikeable characters and a complete lack of tension, all of which builds up to a half baked climax. A poor man's 'Duel'. Avoid.

Thin story, irritating characters and uneven
This could have been as strong as The Hitcher but instead it lurches along without any real purpose. There is a section in the middle that drags, leading to more predictable 'action' sequences. The leads are very unsympathetic characters as well making you cheer the bad guy on.

Unwatchable
Probably a really poor movie anyway but unwatchable due to sound issues!Even in 'night mode' the films dialogue is incredibly low volume and tinny then the slightest bit of action is full blast! Just really poor and not worth the effort to watch!

I am the odd one out here...
...because I thought this was a predictable, badly-acted and badly-written film. At best is is just average. Boring.

Compact thriller that's not compact on thrills
This film owes its great idea from Steven Spielberg's classic first film Duel, but this is a very entertaining thriller. Two brothers (Steve Zahn and Paul Walker) prank a truck driver, by putting on a female voice over the car radio and pretending to be his date. The truck driver discovers this is a joke and what happens next is definitely a Joy Ride as the truck driver chases them through the American desert. Mind games, tense situations and lots of suspense follow. Zahn does not normally star in films like these, but he provides a much needed bit of light humour in places and does an excellent acting job particularly in the really tense scenes. Walker was well cast as the sensible brother. Leelee Sobieski's best acting can be found here as Walker's adorable love interest getting caught up in it all. If you love psychological thrillers and road movies you'll love this film.
