I bought this to start growing my own herbs. I have cilantro , parsley , basil , etc. easy if you were a new learner or habe been doing it. This kit has everything you need . This is the brand I keep coming back to .

They are compatible with my old hydroponics system and my new one, they both fit perfectly. Just make sure your system has the round ones and not square. The stickers are great to not only label each one so you don’t mix them up but also to prevent light. The covers are great to keep in moisture and humidity to help the seeds germinate faster. Just take them off once the plant pops up. The seed pods you soak in warm water and in about five minutes they are twice the size. The foam is thick but you still need to be careful not to rip it. The baskets keep the roots stable and so far my basil, tomatoes and lettuce are doing great. The fertilizer has clear instructions just store it in the refrigerator after you mix it. This I didn’t know in prior years and the bottles would corrode. Now I keep the bottles in the fridge, no problem.

Was disappointed it didn't come with seeds. Had varying success - basil, oregano, and tarragon took off. Never able been to grow Parsley or cilantro though. The light has to be moved up to accommodate the tallest plant and then the shorter/ slower growing plants don't get what they need and never take off. Now I only use it for basil and it is growing like mad - not a bad thing - but wonder if I need a seperate unit for each herb variety I want to grow? Not a bad thing to consider since I love the option of having fresh herbs ready all the time.

So grateful for this kit I just got my hydroponic and this will be so helpful and keeping my plants healthy.

These are working great for me. Was able to plant my own seeds and grow what I need. Love them and easy to use.
