While this kind of worked, i nearly broke my foot and dropped one planter when trying to pivot it backwards. There is no 'brake'on the wheels, and because the pivot point is in between the wheels vs on a the axis of one wheel, you have to use one foot to stop the trolley moving, and kind of use the other to help pivot and break - aka an accident waiting to happen.
