They work well, and it is nice to have something that sits on the handle rather than trying to perch a hot pad on there. I do feel at least on my pans, that I need to use both hands to move a pan in and out of the oven. This handle holder is good, but i don't feel confident moving it from stove to oven or vice versa just with this on the handle . There is a little play in the fit, and I don't like to risk moving hot things if I think I might drop it. They do provide good protection for your hand on the stove top, and it is a good indicator to anyone else that comes in the kitchen that the pan is hot. Just what I needed
I bought this for my cast iron as I put it in the oven at times and even on the stove, the handle gets too hot. They work perfectly!

mixed results
not great when left on aluminum fry pan, which handle part padded gets too hot . but fried chicken in a cast iron slipped on when needed seemed to work ok so dont leave on fry pan slip on when you need it

Goo quality handle holders
We have a set of skillets that have very uncomfortable handles so I bought these with hopes that it would make them easier to use. I'm sure that they would work great but unfortunately I didn't measure my handles properly and they didn't fit. I have used them a few times with a cast iron skillet and it worked good for that.

Too big for most uses
These are WAY too wide for use on a 12" lodge cast iron pan, or any other pan I own. In fact, I have never seen a pan that has a handle as wide as necessary for these to be a good fit.

They do the job as described
They do the job as described, but they did not fit snug on my cast iron as I had hoped for, so i GAVE SOME AWAY, SHE LOVED THEM THO.

These are very thin and loose fitting. These are copies of the original design which is much thicker and fits better.
