I've been having problems getting some memory to work on my older PC, and I was starting to think there was a fault with my MB. But I'm delighted that this memory has gone straight in, and with a timing adjustment in BIOS, is working perfectly. They're ruggedly built, well packaged - exactly what you want.If you have a large CPU cooler like the awesome "be quiet! Dark Rock Pro 4", the height of these modules fit perfectly.I've not tried overclocking these and don't intend to, so can't comment on that aspect of their performance.I might be buying another 8GB in the future. Very impressed.

Great performance hardware although I upgraded to dual channel to suit my system. I did however try this out temporarily and it worked great on it's own.Works well if you have a large CPU cooler that overlaps you RAM slots, I have upgraded to standard Vengeance and it's tricky to negotiate past my cooler. This LP version however is (as the name suggests) very low profile so there is a little more ease of access.

This RAM is amazing value for money, incredible easy to install and runs beautifully! I installed 2x8gb sticks in the PC and it's more than enough to run anything we need including the Oculus VR.

Just what 8 needed to upgrade my pc from 8 gb to 16 gb of ram. Works fine, easy to install, the heat sink is a nice addition and give it a nicer look than a plain bit of ram.

If you're planning to buy the more expensive Corsair RAM with the bigger, more flashy heat dissipator, there really is no point. RAM doesn't get as hot as some of the other components and it doesn't need a big radiator/heat dissipator. This low profile RAM module does its job perfectly. If you're using a Mini ATX Motherboard, you pretty much have to get it if you want the space for a better quality aftermarket CPU radiator, which is a lot more important than a RAM one.

Bought it as is a good price, sensable size (physical + data wise), and claims pretty high performance (9-9-9-24). Also allows me an upgrade to 16GB (dual 8GB) at a later date, if need be.Ran at 1600mhz by default.Have no real complaint about it, especially as i only use it for gaming. (apparently ram speed is least important)I've taken one star off as by default it was running at 10-10-10-27. However changing it in the bios to 9-9-9-24 causes fairly regular blue screens.I've been told changing the voltages can help, but i haven't done that. Firstly as i dont really know what im doing and secondly i shouldn't have too. No where in/on the box does it say i need to increase the voltage beforce use.I dont think 10-10-10-27 is much slower, especially gaming wise. Though might be something to be wary of if it matters to you.

Ich kann im Prinzip nix negatives über diesen RAM-Baustein sagen. Preis/Leistung ist durchaus akzeptabel, denn dieser Baustein bietet viel für seinen Preis.Ich habe diesen Stick zum aufrüsten meines älteren Gamer-PC's gekauft und bin wunschlos glücklich. Die Performance hat sich stark verbessert, man merkt, dass der Rechner viel besser klarkommt, da Windows 7 schon im alleinigen windowsbetrieb ca. 1gb (schwankend) "reserviert".Ein Highlight ist natürlich die Verarbeitung. Der kühlkörper, da es eine LP-Variante ist, passt fast nahezu in jedes System. Sollte man mehr Platz zur Verfügung Haben, kann man auch die normalen vengeance nehmen mit größerem Kühler.Viel Spaß beim Kauf!

This 8GB stick is cheaper than the 2x4GB equivalent here on Amazon, so if your motherboard accepts 8GB sticks (which most 1156 and 1155 motherboards should) why the heck not? While many people will never use more than 4-8GB of RAM, I do a lot of video rendering and large graphics editing, and I have definitely seen my computer hit the 8GB mark and then some!On my Gigabyte board I did have to manually set the clock speed in the BIOS, but this isn't as scary as it sounds if you're not very tech-savvy...all you do is hit your BIOS button on start up, navigate to the memory tab and set the clock speed to 1600MHz if it's not already set. Save and exit!I had 16GB of this Corsair Vengeance RAM in 4x4GB format in my last build, and I had absolutely no problems whatsoever. As far as I know, it is still working just fine for the current owner too! This is rock-solid RAM, and though I have never had to RMA anything I hear very good things about the process.So you could spend $40 on 8GB and possibly have to sell and upgrade in the future, or you could spend less than that on this single stick (as of Nov. '12) and ensure that you can hit 32GB if you ever need it...
