Works Great, Makes Shuffling a Breeze
Our family does a lot of family game nights in which shuffling gets tedious and takes up time that we could be using to play the games. We figured we would give this shuffler a try despite the reviews of batteries dying and cards getting jammed. It was worth it!!! We have used this shuffler a handful of times now, and the batteries seem to be holding up just fine. My guess, is that it greatly depends on the quality of battery you purchase! If you purchase cheap-o dollar tree or off brand batteries you can't expect them to hold up, why do you think they are so cheap? We do occasionally get a card that is stuck, but we found that if you are careful about the amount of cards that you put in each side, you can avoid this issue. We are super happy with this purchase, and would recommend it assuming you use quality batteries and can be patient and careful with the amount of cards you try to shuffle at one time :)

GREAT product for a GREAT price - GREAT for accessibility purposes
We have a player in our group who is handicapped, and has trouble using his hands. When it was his turn to be dealer, it was always something that stood out because someone else would have to shuffle for him. You can see how this would interrupt the flow of an energetic game and act as a reminder for his disability. Now, EVERYONE can use the shuffler - including him (who can cut and hold cards, but not shuffle them), and everybody can focus on the game as equals. Not only that, but even if you aren't handicapped, I'm sure you know how time-consuming shuffling can be - especially in a heads-up match where somebody might fold before the flop is even put down. This device eliminates that problem. You simply cut the cards, place half on one side and half on the other, and push the little lever at the bottom. Even if the table isn't perfectly level, it still works, and the unit doesn't feel like it's going to tip forward when you hold the lever. Now for any players, reaching that proper "7 average shuffles" between matches is going to be a lot easier. Thank you, Unniweei!

Good but not perfect.
Bought this shuffler for a new game which requires 4 decks of cards. This shuffler works pretty well but I did experience a couple issues. The very first time I used it a card got caught inside the "shuffled" cavity and this card was sitting vertically on one side next to the stack of cards that had already ben shuffled or cards that were being shuffled after it got stuck there. Either way the cards being shuffled eventually got caught by this vertical card and caused a slight jam. It was easy to clear the jam and continue shuffling but it was a problem. I used brand new decks of cards all the exact same. When I loaded them into the "hoppers" I tried to align the cards so they were in a pretty uniform stack vertically. I experienced the same thing a couple more times in the 5 or 6 times I shuffled the 4 decks of cards. All is all I'm pretty happy as it saves me the hassle of trying to shuffle some of the card by hand and then shuffle some more by hand etc and then put them all together.

Won’t shuffle at max capacity, pacing is off, and it jams a bunch.
I just bought this shuffler and I have mixed feelings. The first issue I had (my fault I admit, it may be in the description.) was that it took 4C batteries. But it doesn’t say that on the box anywhere. So I couldn’t use it right away. I shuffle my cards against humanity with shufflers and bought this to expand the amount of cards I can shuffle in one go, however the flicking wheels jam up with the weight of cards when the side spaces are filled to capacity. So the card amount is a bit deceptive. The pacing is off. It’s does not shuffle evenly. The shuffler I received throws more cards from the left card space, than the right. So I did find myself running cards through multiple times, especially when incorporating my new expansion pack. Cards fit well, but I don’t like the weird dropping shelf because cards flip and get stuck between the wall and the shelf (no damage spotted after). It jams often, but poking the jammed cards allows it to continue shuffling. The functionality is unstable. The sturdy mess seems to be good. But I could have gotten something much better for my money. :(

Good Card Shuffler
We use this when playing Five Crowns, which is more than a standard deck of cards. It shuffles the cards nicely. We have owned this product for over a year and have not had any issues with it. Battery life is good too.

Unreliable
So far, so good. I have ordered and received so many of this particular shuffler that i can't remember. The item works for a time and then one thing or another goes wrong with it and changing the batteries is not the answer. One shuffler's small black knob broke off so the shelf holding the shuffled cards could not hold it up. ladyjjane

Great for someone who doesn’t know how to shuffle cards by hand.
For what this is (and for the $20 price), it works. This is by no means, heavy duty or professional grade. We play a few games that requires two decks and the machine handles shuffling 104 cards just fine. For the amount of time it takes to evenly separate the cards into two equally stacks, place each stack on each side of the machine, ensure the card catcher is inserted, manually hold down a button to shuffle the cards down through the machine, collect the shuffled cards (because one shuffle isn’t enough - more like 5-7 to really shuffle them good) & repeat… honestly, you can do it faster the old fashioned way (by hand)! My child likes it because he has no idea how to shuffle cards - so for him, it’s worth it to use. I think if you are seriously looking for a automatic card shuffler, save up and spend the extra money to get a professional grade one (like the casinos use) - this is more of a fun, cheap toy. But, like I said, for what it is, it works! No issues as far as functionality. It is battery powered and portable.

This shuffler only does TWO decks, not 2/4/6. I returned for a refund.
