Highly Recommend!
These skates are absolutely beautiful and feel incredibly well-made. The quality exceeded my expectations, especially for the price. They do run a little big, so I had to exchange mine for a smaller size. They’re a great option for people with wider feet, and the wheels glide very smoothly. The skates feel sturdy, durable, and heavy-duty without compromising comfort. They’re also beginner-friendly, with wheels and trucks that are easy to adjust. Overall, an amazing value for the money. 🛼💕

Good (enough) value and quality
I skated a LOT in roller rinks as a teenager and young adult. I skated backward and at one time earned a trophy for skate dancing. BUT all that was 45 years ago. So I’m not a beginner, and I knew I would not be happy with the quality and performance of “cheap” skates, but I needed to ease back into skating and I didn’t want to spent a lot of money. I was happy to find these on Amazon for about $60, which I think is a good value. I bought them based on the reviews and figured that if I start skating a lot again that I will probably need to replace them with better quality skates. So far, I’m thinking I will keep them! The boots on these skates are surprisingly very comfortable. I wear a US size 7 WIDE in ladies. I ordered a 7 (EU38), and they fit me great. So these run a little wide. If you have narrow feet, they might slide around inside these skates a bit, but a pair of thicker socks would solve that. I recommend ordering your normal size. They come unlaced so plan to spend a few minutes lacing them up before the first time you wear them. The laces were long enough and seem good enough quality. Like classic skates, these have shoe lace eyelets over the foot and three sets of lacing hooks at the top of the boot. The boots on these skates are made of “deluxe PU leather”—-well, that’s a synthetic material, and so my feet sweat in them a bit, but not bad. The little air holes on the sides help. The wheels spin nice and smooth—-but with a bit more friction (less spin) than I was used to. So they’d be good for beginners—but I was pretty happy with their performance and feel. They do not feel as “slippery” as “faster” wheels, and it takes a bit more effort to move along in them and pick up speed. But they were good. And I was very happy with the alignment of these skates. They roll straight and have a nice “balanced” feel to them. My only complaint is that about half way through the night, something suddenly went wrong with one of the skates—I initially thought I had skated through some spilled soda on the floor. Turns out that the toe stop just fell off. It really changed the feel of the skate. I’m not sure how that happened because the toe stop is screwed on with an attached bolt. I guess it wasn’t tight to begin with, and so it came unscrewed. I found the toe stop and also the washer, and I just screwed it back onto the skate by hand. That never, ever happed to me in all the years I skated back in the day. I guess I will need to check that for tightness periodically. Overall, I was happy with these and recommend them. I write honest reviews to help others make informed purchases because I read reviews myself and appreciate how helpful they can be. I hope that my review helped you.

Papaison roller skates
I'm a beginner skater and I was looking for comfortable steady skates. After researching several brands, I bought the top 4 I thought would work for me without breaking the bank. I got these Papaison $60, Roller derby Cruz $62, Candy girl $70, Tuosamtin $110. So far, Papaison takes the number 1 pick. Most comfortable and best rolling feel. I like the quality as well. They have all around padding that wraps around the ankle. The adjustable toe stopper is also a plus because i can adjust them to where i want them. They fit true to size, order half size down. If you wear size 8.5 get an 8. Overal, they look very chic and classy, perfect fit. I love them. Second choice are the Candy girl also very comfortable. They are made of soft sued that mould to your feet as you break them in. Third are the Tuosamtin. They are comfortable but i do not like how they roll. They also feel bulky. Roller derby Cruz have good esthetics but they are not comfortable. They are so hard and no cushion on the inside. The tongue digs into your ankle. They hurt my feet just trying them on. For beginners, I recommend the Papaison. Best skates, you will not go wrong with these. They are also the best bang for your bucks. I hope this helps someone trying to find good skates.

Great for beginners! My first skates!
I know people talk a lot of smack about this brand online, but truthfully, these were great skates to learn on!! I got these back in July, so 6ish months ago, so I wouldn't have to keep messing around with different rental skates every week at open skate. Please note I did literally zero research as a beginner skater. I just wanted my own skates. These wheels are outdoor wheels. Beginner me had no idea about all the different kinds of wheels. I was struggling badly at the rink, as I stuck to the floor! Turning was a struggle, too, but oh wait, once you loosen the trucks, that helps. ;) Oh, and yes, roller skates should not fit on your foot like a running shoe!! If your foot has room to slide around, you're going to get blisters and your weight distribution is going to be wonky!!! It makes learning SO MUCH HARDER. Anyhow, within a couple weeks of getting these, I ended up upgrading to RC Medallion (indoor) wheels. That helped heaps to keep me rolling better. It embarrassingly took me a few months to realize these skates are way too big for me, which is why I was taking FOREVER to level up. 😂 Side note, I found these ankle sleeve things that added volume to the heel and ankle area, and that prevented me from getting blisters. Had I worn the correct size skates from the get go, these would have been a breeze to break in. They are actually so comfy and have a lot of padding. But regardless, the skates themselves did their job! I had no real issues with them outside of user error. I was just sitting here, putting the original wheels back on, before I throw them on Marketplace, and was actually surprised at the quality of these skates for the price. Also, the bearings are ones that my (seasoned) friends would use. I used these skates at least a dozen times overall before I upgraded to Sure Grip Boardwalk Pluses. Which are two sizes smaller. LOL. You live and learn. Having these lovely, padded, lower cut skates made me know exactly what I wanted to look for when I upgraded. But these were really nice to learn in. They stuck with me through the very awkward beginner days of stumbling about like a baby deer. I'm actually feeling sad I have to let them go! There are way worse skates for beginners is all I'll say. :) to me, they're physically lovely to look at, feel quite sturdy, and as I said, I'm pleasantly surprised at the quality.

Perfect skates!
I just started skating again and was looking for some skates. These skates checked all the boxes of what I needed. Soft urethane wheels, rubber stop and real trucks and bearings. Perfect skates for outdoor skating ( I’m not skating indoors) , very comfortable and smooth ride.

Very durable, pretty color, size accurate, beginner skates
These are really nice skates! I looked at many different ones and read reviews before ordering these. Good purchase for the price and they are holding up well. My granddaughter skates weekly and sometimes twice a week and these have held up great and so far needed no adjustments. The toes are wearing some with the color coming off some where she drags and bumps her toes but it's not bad and to be expected and has no effect on it's use. It fits her perfectly and she was a total beginner and it's worked very well for her while learning. She only uses these on indoor skating rinks. So far so good and will update if there is a problem but it's been 7 months of heavy use. Highly recommend.

10/5 stars, LOVE THESE SKATES
Im just learning to roller skate, I’ve only roller bladed. Im older now and not as stable. I bought 2 pairs at academy and my feet hurt sooo bad. I watched some youtube reviews and saw this brand, came here and read the reviews and bought these. I got my true size. Ive had them a week and already put several hours and miles onto these skates. I have wide feet. Im 38. My feet are super sensitive/cramp easy. I got wax laces to hold my “lacing” the way I want(loose in some areas and tighter in others). These conform around your foot so well, I sat down watching a movie and forgot I was even wearing them an hour later. I got back up and skated some more, lol. I have only skated outdoors in them and they are amazing. The wheels that come with are okaayyy for outdoor but softer wheels would be ideal(I just haven't swapped them). Super happy I found them!

Excellent skates however…
These skates are seriously comfortable out of the box. They fit well. My husband ordered my shoe size. The quality is great and they look fantastic on. I do think they’re great value for your money. Now for the bad part, my skates came with one shoelace. They also didn’t come with any tools. The tool should be standard considering it comes with an adjustable toe stop but really, one shoe lace? Thankfully that is easily remedied but I had to order another set of toe stops just to get the tool that is standard with most skates.
