This purchased restored my faith in Amazon. I bought from this vendor after I had less-than-ideal experience with another vendor as seen in the video. The dimensions of the product are close enough to the original and are well within tolerances. The O-ring washer is a millimeter too tall and pokes harmlessly out from between the base of the element and the top of the kettle; I found that applying some isopropyl alcohol lubricated the parts allowing for easier installation and tucking the O-ring into the kettle's top edge with a fingernail prevents it from binding or being cut. These elements are advertised as "upgraded" and I believe it because the output temperature is four degrees hotter than set at the tankless water heater. That delta in temperature and the fact that one burned out element produces half the expected temperature rise makes me think that the water heater relies on the expected output of the elements instead of a sensor on the outbound connector. To produce 113°F water (safe for children, but hot enough for my Chinese bride), I needed to set the thermostat to 108°F. Overall, I am so far very satisfied. I have to admit that keeping this appliance out of landfill for a quarter of the price of a replacement is very satisfying for this pragmatic family man. I haven't had the time to test the durability, but I live with four women and these elements will get plenty of hours on their clock. If they break within a year then I will come back here and make an update.

These elements brought our 1 year old ECO 11 back to full life again. Yes, we had one of the original elements fail in about a year from installing the tankless heater, and the water was not as hot as we were used to it being. 30 minutes worth of swapping parts (15 of that spent figuring a way to get all the scale deposits out of the bottom of each "tube" before installing the new elements), and bamo - water hotness again! Well worth it. It might be smart to have an extra set of these on hand for the next cool-down event.

Bought the two pack of heating elements. Had them installed by contractor, but one of the two elements ended up dying within 12 hours of being installed. While it worked, it worked great... For about 8 hours... Now, we're without hot water again...

My Eco smart water heater just quit working (while I was in the shower). After trouble shooting the unit I found out the elements were bad, I order this as a replacement. I received the item o time and was able to get the unit working again without any problems. I am so glad that I looked on Amazon next day delivery and the only other place I found them it was going to take a week! Way to go Amazon!!!

Correct figment, but replacement seal that comes on the new element is too thick. You cannot tighten the element enough or the seals pushes out and leaks or if you leave it loose enough to not push out the seal, it leaks. The element has a different depth o-ring groove, so you cannot reuse the original either. I fortunately had an o-ring assortment that had one that would do the job.
