I'm a Kindergarten Prep teacher and in my classroom, the block area is the most popular and busiest area. We have the triangular and square Magna-tiles. However, I didn't even know that such a large sized base magnet tile existed. At first, I thought they were expensive, but after seeing them, I can understand why. These are very well made and extremely sturdy and durable. The magnets are pretty strong so when these are stacked together, it is pretty tough to separate them. It comes with a booklet of inspiration and I really got inspired. I would like to order a full set. It's amazing to see what you can build with these. One thing to point out is that the smaller square tiles we have are slightly smaller than the 16 individual squares that make up the big one. You can stick them on this base, but 4 square tiles will not be equivalent in length. I recommend these tiles. The magnets are strong and appear very securely sealed inside, which is important as I have a 20-month old toddler and loose magnets would pose a serious hazard. They are compatible with the tiles we own and my son took right to them, building pyramid structures.
