PEPE Mobility Raised Toilet Seat with Lid for Elderly 6" High

My very tall husband has bad knees and most toilets are too low for him to easily get up and down. When he learned he was going to require heart surgery, we knew that grab bars weren't going to be an option so I shopped for toilet seat risers. This one was perfect. First, I don't have to remove the existing toilet seat and lid. This one sits down on my oval shaped toilet and clamps with two screws on the side. At first I thought it wasn't going to stay put and be unstable but when I loosened the screws on the sides just a little, it became very stable. This seat is taller than most of the ones I've seen advertised so this was a real plus for my husband. I put it on a newer, taller toilet and had to add a stool for the short people (me) in the house. If you have standard toilets, this will be perfect to give the average person a little height so they can easily get up and down. It's easy to clean, has it's own lid and doesn't look too bad.

I bought this because my mother has MS and mobility issues. We raised her motorized scooter seat to make it easier for her to get in and out of bed but that left the toilet seat to low. We had a 4 inch riser before this one that we got at a local drugstore. This one is truly taller and exactly what we needed. The plastic is very sturdy and easy to clean. I was skeptical when I took it out of the packaging but it really works. It cannot just sit on the toilet, you have to use the clamps but the clamps are clamping! Our shorter riser had a tendency to slide no matter how much we clamped it. This seat is not going anywhere. It's been very helpful in the few weeks we've had it and it serves us purpose very well for my house. Update: We've had this for several months now and it works great. Even the lid is still going strong and is vast and dignified improvementover every other riser we've ever had that didn't come with a lid. I am able to sit on it without breaking it. And even my kids who are destroyers of everything have not found a way to destroy this. I am donating one to a friend who is having surgery and I feel very confident saying this is what they need!

After my 92-year-old father fell and fractured his arm, life changed drastically. Formerly, he was very active on his walker, continent, and raised and lowered himself with ease. Dad then started plopping down in an uncontrolled manner, oftentimes veering well off the center of the toilet seat. I would try to control his plopping by aiming his bottom toward the center of the seat, but he would just take me down with him and into the shelving next to his commode. I ordered this and one other item that changed all that. The elevated seat helped him lower himself down to the seat rather than plopping. The other item helped him center himself on the seat with his non-fractured arm. This was SO easy to install, literally under a minute. It is secure and easy to clean. The only issue is if one has a bidet installed, it can no longer be used effectively. My brother used a hot crafting knife (available at Michael's or other crafting stores) to make an opening for the stream. Problem solved! Note: The after-market bidet has helped keep him clean so much: highly recommended.

I thought I was splurging for the sake of my sick loved one. See video. Does not fit on an elongated toilet. Thought it would be at least 1.5 inches taller than standard donut seat lifter, but because you don't add your own seat and because it is higher in the back than it is in the front, it only added .25 inches. Dumb. See how it doesn't clamp securely and rocks back and forth. See how it doesn't fit in an elongated seat. Men need more space to pee! This may be ok on another toilet or for a small woman. Tall men look for another solution. $50 piece of plastic is going back. Second photo is the elongated gated toilet I am trying to fit it on.

I actually LOVE this riser! But I need a riser with a lid to close after each flush to lessen swirling particles around the bathroom. I also like to sit down after a shower as it’s right next to my shower and I’m partially disabled. The hinge broke off after 3 months:( After trying duct tape, Gorilla tape, etc. I ended up using 2 large super stick bandaids to avoid breakage of the other hinge.) Unfortunately, I have now purchased another one but when I ordered it, it did not offer the 2 year protection plan, like it does as of todays date 10/25/24:(( It’s a great product for seniors like me! Easy to install!

It worked out great for my husband because he is 6FT tall and has hip, back and leg problems. This seat prevents him from sitting too low causing him pain in sitting and standing and back up. It is also easy to attach to your toilet I would purchase it again..

Does not stay tight on the stool

Works and fits as expected. No need to take off anything, leave your seat and lid on, just lift up the toilet seat. I have an elongated toilet so I measured my toilet - as it shows measurements so you know if it will fit or not. ( I’m not a fan of plastic fasteners ) but It tightened up well. For the price it works perfect.
