Does the job.
Building a new building and having a timelapse of is awesome. Easy to set up, easy to secure. Battery life is longer than expected. Was able to lock it in the case. We don’t get much rain but case keeps the dust out as well.

What a waste.
I purchased 3 of these and none of them work. Almost a thousand dollars now down the drain. Initially, the tests worked, but once they were put in place, nothing. I thought at first there was a problem with the memory cards, so I bought new memory cards. Tested, worked fine. Then put in place and ran them for a while - now still nothing. Now it's past the return window and I'm just out a ton of money.

Amazing Camera!
Camera was super easy to setup. Be sure to hit the center oaky button to start recording. It will say REC when recording. It can be confusing as it says on in the bottom left corner suggesting it is recording. I setup a time schedule, mounted it, and never looked back. Super easy, amazing video quality, and very affordable!

Solid Time-Lapse Camera with a Few Important Caveats
The Brinno BCC300-M is a dependable option for long-term time-lapse projects, especially outdoors. It delivers good results in normal lighting, and the included case feels sturdy enough for jobsite or weather-exposed setups. However, there are a few things users should watch for. Low-light performance is limited, and footage becomes noticeably grainy as the light drops. The front lens can also loosen over time if the camera is frequently adjusted; I learned the hard way and lost a full day of footage because the lens shifted out of focus. Previewing video on the device would be a helpful feature, as you currently need a computer to check your results. A built-in leveling guide for vertical and horizontal alignment would also make setup much easier. Overall, it is a very good time-lapse camera, as long as you know these limitations going in and double-check the lens before each shoot.

IT WORKS! (for DAYTIME only - updated review)
Update 7.15.2024 - Sadly night mode does not work. There is so much grainy/static like interference in the images, this seems to be useless for any type of night-time time-lapse you might want to do. Hoping maybe I just got a bad unit. Waiting for customer service to ping me back - sent messages both to their website as well as their YouTube product page. Will adjust rating appropriatelyAfter purchasing (and returning) two different time-laps cameras, each of which I spent hours trying to program or connect to an app, I finally bit the bullet and paid the extra money for a Brinno. SUPER easy set up. No need to schedule, so you can just hit the ok button and start recording. Did a test by timelapsing a YT vid and it worked fine. Taking it outside now to do a more proper test, but I'm SUPER stoked that it appears that I don't have to send this one back too. 3rd time's a charm. It was kind of disappointing that I had to purchase a waterproof case, but the cost didn't deter me. Very SIMPLE camera that is made for one thing.. time-lapse photography. If you're looking for easy, this one is recommended. Will update if things go awry.

Absolute garbage
Bought for a construction project. Followed every instruction. Said it was recording. Checked a month later and it’s recorded literally nothing. Wonderful. What a monumental waste of money.

Image quality is low - Only takes video - does not do still images
Disappointed the device cannot take still images. This seems like a simple function, but a more expensive model was is required. Overall video quality is very low making the device all but useless if you care about what the end result looks like.

Endlich bessere Bilder!

Reliable and effective time-lapse camera
I recently purchased the camera for a construction project I was working on, and I have to say, I'm really impressed with it. The camera is designed specifically for job sites and outdoor projects, and it produces high-quality time-lapse videos that are really easy to use.Setting up the camera was a breeze, with clear instructions on how to set the interval and schedule for recording. I appreciated the camera's automatic time-lapse function, which allowed me to focus on my work without having to constantly adjust the camera settings. The camera's wide angle view was also really useful for capturing my project.Very impressed with the camera's low power consumption as well. I've only used it for a few weeks so far, but I haven’t had to replace the batteries yet.The description says that 4 AA batteries can last for up to 66 days so this will save me a lot of money and hassle in the long run.The image quality of the TLC300 series was excellent, with full HD 1080P and HDR features that can easily capture time-lapse videos even at night. The waterproof casing really came in handy given the English weather!Overall, I would highly recommend this camera to anyone looking for a high-quality time-lapse camera for their outdoor or construction projects. It's easy to use, produces great results, and comes with everything you need to get started. If you're looking for a reliable and effective camera, this is definitely the one to get.

Good Build Quality, Robust Case
Initially I was suspicious about the product based on the high cost that it carries. But once I got the product I knew from the packaging itself that this is going to be good. The packaging was not very aesthetic, but very functional and well designed. The product Build quality is very robust. The use and the interface are easy. The casing is also very good. Highly recommended for anyone who is looking to build a timelapse
