do not buy this. its a pain to set up and doesnt even do its job well after. the pvc strip and the grooved strip barely fit together so when you try to pull it off by the corner bits the whole thing just falls apart. the magnets arent strong enough to hold together so after 10 minutes the thing just slides off. it doesnt even look good when its set up. if i could give it 0 stars i would. boo to this thing 👎

Really impressed with the build quality and performance, really easy to fit and powerful magnets are used. Really helping keeping fly outside home.

Brilliant fly screen, easy to fit and use, looks great once installed. Sometimes the retaining strip starts to peel off in places but this can just be pushed back on. Definitely worth the money for peace of mind and keeping the bugs out.

It was easy to put together and works well. Looks sturdy, so will hopefully last.

Looking through the box, the kit looked good. Installation of the magnetic strip onto the window was straightforward but getting the white plastic framing to sandwich the net with the grooved magnet and stay clicked together was impossible, it kept falling apart. I ended up sewing the magnetic strip into channels of the net using my sewing machine and supergluing on the corners. Very happy with the result and I have now made bug screens for all of the bedroom windows using this method. Lovely to have freedom to open the windows and not have an invasion of unwanted guests, especially for me and my daughters who don't like spiders and also the dog who hates anything that flies.

I ordered this magnetic fly screen hoping for a simple solution to keep insects out while letting fresh air in. What I received was an absolute joke of a product that couldn't even survive basic handling. The Problems: Terrible build quality - The white frame is made from the cheapest, most brittle plastic imaginable. Within literally 5 minutes of unpacking, the frame was already warping and bending out of shape just from being touched. The photos I've included show how the frame went from slightly bent to completely falling apart in mere minutes. Useless magnetic strips - Despite claims of "720GS magnetic force," the magnetic components are poorly attached and the adhesive strips are inadequate. The grooved magnetic strips separate from the frame at the slightest touch. Impossible installation - You can't even attempt to install this thing because the frame structure is so flimsy that it deforms and breaks apart during handling. The "DIY adjustable" feature is meaningless when the product self-destructs before you can use it. The only positive: Amazon's customer service was excellent and processed my full refund immediately when I explained the situation. Bottom line: This is not a functioning product - it's expensive rubbish. The frame is so poorly constructed that it can't maintain its shape long enough to serve any purpose. Don't be fooled by the 4.2-star rating or "Amazon's Choice" badge. Save your money and look elsewhere for a magnetic window screen that's actually made from materials stronger than tissue paper. Would I recommend this? Absolutely not. Not even worth £1.50, let alone £14.99.
