These lights were ready to go, right out of the box. I removed the protective plastic covering off of the lens and off of the top.Solar collector and I also pressed the on off button underneath it to the on position. There was a charge already. I put the lights and the stick holder together and put them in the ground to shine up on the pillars in front of our house. There was enough charge right out of the box to last a couple hours.And the next day, they charged even on a slightly cloudy day, and as far as I can tell, the lights were bright.At least six hours in the dark. And they are the best and strongest Solar powered lights of this kind that we've ever owned. The previous ones we bought lasted 3-5 years in the outdoor weather, Twelve months out of the year outside in the sun and heat and cold weather. I highly recommend these quality solar lights.Because they're worth the slightly more money than other brands.Because they are more sturdy.The plastic is rigid and doesn't seem to bend or break under the influence of the weather and sun. I ordered the warm light instead of the bright white light and I think it's A nice, cozy, warm color and still bright.And I also like to use them to shine on landscaping in the yard. And when we lose power from a power outage, we grab a solar light from the yard and bring it into the house and get instant light. A very great product and i'm pleased with it.We have also given these lights as gifts.

Great lights. good illumination. Have them on medium light at the moment. Will try switching them onto the bright lights. Really enhance different plants and and decorative structures and statues. Have used ground mounts in all of them.

Used them for potted palm trees. Works great. Love the three different lighting options. They are really bright on highest level. Easy to put together. Love the I can adjust them. They are flimsy plastic. I would buy another set for my garden.

Lights are very bright for what they are. They have made it through several wind and rain storms and still work perfectly. Fun way to add light and color to our yard.

They were easy to assemble, not much to do there. I left the plastic on to preserve the life of the solar panel. I put them around the perimeter of my home because we live in a poorly lit neighborhood. But they look more like reflectors when they’re on. They work but one or two of them are off before morning even though they’ve charged all day in the sun. So the charge doesn’t last more than a few hours. The light doesn’t project very far. The size is fine but i wish the light was more powerful.

These lights are amazing and so bright! They are often mistaken for hardwire installed lights and when I have to tell my guests they are solar they’re shocked. Honestly have made my Space so beautiful and have made such a huge difference in my landscape and garden. I also used them over the harsh Michigan winter we just had and they light up every night. Some lights would be dim at times but then they would adjust on their own somehow. They look very high end and not cheap looking like most solar garden lights. Very satisfied and will be purchasing again!

I intended to get some outdoor solar lights for a long time as added security, and finally got around to it. I placed them in adequate sunlight, pointing toward entryways to my home, so the security cameras have better video. In the winter, they stayed on for most of the night. As spring started to arrive (with longer sunlight), all of them lasted all night. They are a good value and are working great. In a power outage, these would work great for indoor lighting, albeit if they sense enough light elsewhere, they will shut off. But a little tape or cover solves that.
