I had brassy gingery dyed blonde hair, but I'm in my wonderful peri-menopausal stage of thinner hair, and the grey curls are starting to shove their way through! Sniff!So, thought I would have to just embrace the grey and be old! Then I tried this (God I sound like an advert lol) and WOW, the ginger went, the greys went, my hair felt glossier, and I really love the ashy blonde! At first though, parts of my hair were quite blue, not adverse to this, but within 2/3 washes that had gone and left with shiny manageable hair!It'll never be perfect, I've been dying my hair for 35 years lol (was 10 when I started!) but its so much nicer after using this. x

Now I am getting on, in my late 70’s I thought I would see what I look like either grey hair this turned out great. You might want to add a violet shampoo or conditioner to add to the tone but not absolutely necessary, this is a good price for the product, if you fancy a change I would recommend this but don’t form the conditioner as all hair products a little harsh ( speaking as a ex hairdresser )

I have used this colour before and it came out a light silver which is what I wanted again, as per the colour on the box. This time it's more like U72 colour dusty silver and has a hue of blue. In certain lights you can see it's silver and in others very bluish! Now I have put gel in my hair it looks bluish. I left it in for 30mins and now wondering as 8 had pre bleached hair I should have left it on for only 10mins?! Having said that the application looked bluish it self and has turned out the same! Won't be buying again as think they've changed the formula?!Update - after a week of washing my hair the blue has gone and have been left with the expected colour so have increased to 3 stars.

Silver..absolutely not silver..it was a grey/blue/purple mix of horror..I wanted a soft silver over my pale blonde hair..Had to bleach this out, so disappointing..lesson learnt
