Love the style and Design. This is a well-made simple base with a nice old world appeal. The early Electric era feel is well represented by the simplicity of this convincingly styled base. Get an Edison bulb at Home Depot for $5 and you will be set. The dimming switch that comes with it is a great touch. I keep it on a really low setting for days at a time, for a nice warm feel in a darkish room. The dimmer/Power switch is on the cord about six to eight inches off the base, which is perfect to keep it out of View behind a table, bookcase, desk or dresser. One of the best features I have come to enjoy is how heavy it is. It pretty much won't move unless you want to move it.

Lamp is well made, has a nice weight to it, dimmer switch on cord is a good idea. You can set the dimmer switch and use a timer if you want to. I use it as a night light with a red led A19 bulb (E26) base 3watts, equivalent to a 40 watt output bulb. I just ordered another lamp. for another room. This one sits on a shelf in my office, looks great.

They look amazing. I used the old time vintage bulbs. Very solid. The dimmer is built into the cord. It smoothly goes from just a trace of light to full light. I got 2. Already I have added this item back to my wish list. When I get paid again I know I want at least 2 more. Somehow the color compliments everything. Very stable and would be difficult to knock over. My second light I am using as an unapproved use. I was making peach pineapple wine and it was a little cooler than I wanted so I put one light in the closet and used the dimmer to regulate the the heat output from the incandescent 60 watt bulb I was using. The light is a safe distance from everything and it’s not in a hot area. The light looks to good to continue using it out of sight, but it was a 30 second fix that worked 100%.

This lamp is very CooL. It’s simplicity makes a statement. It gives off a lot of light- don’t let the small size fool you. My only negatives: bulbs are pricey however I don’t know how long they’ll last so price cld even itself out (I got an amber colored bulb much warmer for ambiance) and another thing is the dial on the lamp does dim the light but it seems like the lamp doesn’t stay on the setting. I’ll dial it to a dim low light and will come back to find it changed to brighter light setting by itself. Perhaps the electrical circuits I have aren’t updated or this is a defect lamp. I don’t think I have ghost either. Nonetheless, these are minor annoyances that don’t outweigh the coolness of this lamp. Love this purchase!

Most manufacturers are using the cheapest materials available this is the complete opposite it is wrought iron and is very heavy a true throw back from decades ago It has a Petina which gives it an antique look and the brass coloring is dark. It is outstanding The lamp is 3” high and the base is 3.5 in diameter which is on the small side and may not function in all settings I added the Edison bulb and have a lamp which looks like it is from the 40 s Couple the great quality, appearance and price and they make this a great selection in the right setting

I did A LOT of browsing and this one was ones of the first I found BUT I kept looking. Should have stopped here. Everything else I saw was either ON or OFF, 3 position touch dimmer or no dimmer and most of all they all looked flimsy. Not this light. It's a little beast! This little light is perfect for what I wanted: Industrial look, solid, works with Edison bulbs (sold separately) , dimmer switch on the cord. If you're looking for a little lamp, that's dimmable, looks GREAT...this is it.

This thing is amazing. I was concerned that it would be really light and flimsy. It is not. It has substantial weight to help keep it where you place it. The rubber backing on the bottom has good grip. The inline dimmer switch is of high quality and is not just a 3-setting-switch (low, med, hi). Instead it is basically infinitely adjustable. I can go from 100% power to no light at all and anywhere in between. The switch is made of more durable plastic than I had expected - which is great.

This lamp base is PERFECT. I wanted it to showcase some of the really cool Edison bulbs out there, and this base works just great. Its industrial, and a little Steampunk-y, and goes really well with my décor. Ive already bought 4 and probably will by a few more. At this price point you can afford a fair few. The dimmer switch is wonderful too. You can dim down the bulbs, or crank them up as needed. You wont be disappointed with this purchase.
