First time I try kojak rice and I am impressed. Switching to this to help reverse my type 2 diabetes. It does not smell of fish at all as claimed by the seller and it holds its shape when cooked as per instructions and it is very easy and quick to prepare. I tried it with a home made chilli con carne and enjoyed it. It does not taste of anything but it still gives the impression that you are having real rice. I think it will be good also with a stew and possibly for rice salads but I cannot see it working to make a risotto. Overall I am happy with this rice substitute, it would help if it was a little cheaper though.

The best Konjac rice I've ever had. Now this review might sound a bit over the top but it is 100% true. I've had Konjac rice previously - a different brand - and it was always a bit fishy tasting despite me washing it a few times. That one was OK but my wife didn't like it. So we gave up on that brand and didn't bother looking for any other. Then the other day, I happened to take a look and found this brand. Completely by chance. This brand is superb and VERY rice like in taste. It had no smell and so no fishy smell either. Great. I stir fried it for about 2 minutes in a little amount of peanut oil. It was great. My wife and I loved it. I'd highly recommend it to everyone that is curious about Konjac rice.

I've eaten Konjac noodles before, but by a different brand. I wanted to try a rice version, but they didn't do them. So I took a chance on these. I'm mega impressed - they don't smell - the other brand had a strong fish sent that only went away with running it under a hot tap for an extended period of time. I did rinse them but not sure I needed to. I cooked them in some butter with sweetcorn. My wife said she didn't like the textture but I'm sold - I would happily eat these in place of rice - which is great because I'm on a low calorie diet and I was missing rice, these are a great substitute. Only issue is the cost - the packets are very small - half a regular packet of rice...and they're nearly £12 for 8 - thats pretty steep. Buying in a larger quantity would potentially work out cheaper but that would be nearly £60 - brining the cost down a little would make these an staple in my kitchen, but at the moment I'm going to have to be more selective when purchasing them.

Poor, couldn’t return product under their stipulation so given it to charity. Very poor!

This produces no carbs and my sugar levels don't rise [I have type 2 diabetes] unlike when I eat any other 'rice' [born or white] - Konjac rice is actually a noodle. it hasn't got much of a taste but it is great as a 'filler' with bolognese etc and i don't feel hungry or get cravings afterwards. i'll never eat any other type of rice again.

I wash and add to my curries and eat hot .I find no fish taste .The key is to eat it wth curries or lentil curries.I am so glad i found it.It helps me manage my calories if i have to eat out lets say, then during lunch i have this and save my calories for later.It also expand in your stomach further and fulls you up really well !! Espcially if you mix it with curries and take to office in thermos , its absolutely delicious !!

Brilliant rice replacement, no carb very low cal. Fishy aroma (totally normal for Konjac products) but disappears when rinsed

This was bought as an alternative to rice; it's a similar shape but has the consistency of pasta. Apparently made from a root vegetable I was not familiar with, so it is all-natural. There was no distinct taste that I could identify, so it will not clash or overpower anything eaten with it. Each portion comes in its individual plastic pouch. My only complaint was that I thought that the portions were a little on the small side

No strong smell or taste, so it absorbs whatever flavor you add it to. The texture is of course different but good substitute for rice nonetheless

I feel disappointed, smells like old rice that soaking with water for long time. I try to eat but I don't like it.

Spedizione puntuale, ottimo prodotto. Nella mia dieta avevo la pasta Konjac ma la trovavo immangiabile, con questo riso ho risolto. Inodore, ottima consistenza, facilissimo da preparare. Consigliatissimo!
