Secret Garden: 10th Anniversary Special Edition

I love coloring anything by Joanna Basford! Wonderful book.

Nice book with good quality paper. It’s like her other books.

As clearly described, this copy of Secret Garden is being re-released for the 10 year anniversary of the original book sparking Johanna Basford's popularity. Also clearly described is the new poster. Yes, it is a double page spread at the end of the book but it's cute, and not in the first book. If you love Johanna Basford and want to support artists who draw their illustrations by hand, the idea of a book with images you already own shouldn't be bothersome. Yes, I already had Secret Garden, but I have a family member who was in need of a new book and doesn't have any JB books but loves flowers. This was a great way to gift the family member a new book, introduce them to JB and support her work by then our chasing this Special Edition copy for myself, which I pre-ordered. The pages are a nice creamy off white color, good thicker pages that should take watercolor and pencil with minimal problem. Decent tooth without feeling too child-like and well-defined lines. With the world of adult coloring being pushed so forcefully into acceptance of cheaply made AI coloring books with discrepancies in images and quality of images, use this opportunity to support artists and their craft. I love the book, the images and the new double page spread.

Love it! It meets my expectations of Johanna Basfords coloring books.

I love Secret Garden, it has beautiful drawings to color that are very relaxing. I have both the original version and the anniversary edition. I highly recommend this book.

A big fan of Johanna Basford books and the size is nice on this one. Only draw back for me was pages you were expected to draw in items. Love coloring but my drawing skills are not so great. The big fold out pages that are in some of these books is great. Like to spend days working on them a little at a time.

Hatte es mir ähnlich wie "Paradies voller Blumen" erhofft, doch das war nicht der Fall. Die Bereiche zum ausmalen sind so extrem klein, dass man es höchstens mit ständig frisch angespitzten Buntstiften schafft und die Motive selbst sind auch nicht besonders schön. Kleiner Kniff mit den selbst zu malenden Figuren, doch sonst lieblos.

Het boek is mooi, papier is goed, geen verschil met het oude boek enkel is er een dubbel blad in deze uitgave.
