great value
Ordered for my father who wears these every day, he was very pleased with these and so will order again. Perfect fit with comfort for his shape and size leg and foot. Very important to have had himself measured so we knew the right size.

GOOD QUALITY
This is actually far superior quality to my last sock from Activa which ended up with holes in the toe and laddering. This new pair are also much easier to put on as the material is thicker.

Happy with the purchase
There are nicer for a winter time, they are rather thick and warm. Nice and comfortable. Good quality product. They deliver such a relief when I work. Would buy again and recommend.

Good but not perfect
Good points: they work! - more or less as intended. But they’re not without their flaws. You need to be careful if you’ve sharp fingernails, it’s all too easy to pluck or hole them, IME they lose they’re compression capability after about 9weeks. If they’re worn by someone with an injury which causes the toes to claw when mobilising or walking then the Activa hosiery prevents the toes from retuning to the un-clawed position. This puts unnecessary pressure on toes particularly the toe joints or knuckles and only way to relieve the pain is to remove from the leg & foot, then refit. The solution can be to fit open toe but bizarrely Activa only produce these in ‘nude’, black colour is not available (class 2).

Swell Support !
I recently started to suffer with varicose veins in one of my legs which caused my lower calf and ankle to swell up and ache as the day wore on. My GP prescribed some support socks which were quite flimsy and soon became laddered and no good at all so I gave up wearing them. However a hospital consultant told me I should be wearing some sort of support whilst waiting for an operation so I was prescribed the Activa Class 2 Support Socks, which worked so well that I bought another pair through Amazon, a recommendation in itself. These socks stopped the swelling almost completely and I find that even when on my feet for several hours there is no aching.

Very Good.
These socks are supplied on prescription by the N H S to help with my varicose vein problems and are very good. Since I started using them I have not suffered any cramp during the night which used to be a regular problem. However, N H S only supply two pairs per annum so I decided to purchase an additional pair.
