My review is more on the quality of the plant. The leaves can be used like spinach, but the stems tend to be very fibrous even though they look juicy when you cut them. I suggest using the stems to flavor broth, as they are too fibrous to eat. Eating them is like trying to eat broccoli stems. I only grew two plants in a single pot, so I never really grew enough to make a nice pot of greens. They do not taste much like spinach, but are an acceptable green.
