The contents were just as I ordered. However, the parcel was well packaged by the supplier, by delivery by Royal Mail resulted in a roughly handled split package with 8 of the 12 tins dented.

These are lovely and tasty, hot r cold. On toast r wafers. With chopped onions and garlic. New potatoes, chips, salads r just hot on a cold night in a bowl with thick pieces of bread n butter. I usually do that when it's really cold out. Tasty n hot, cant beat it. Patricia Welsh xxxx

Good value small tins of pilchards. Can be hard to find in shops these days. I use them for Marguerite Patten’s 1970s recipe for Pilchard Squares, and as a substitute for anchovies in puttanesca sauce, along with anchovy paste. This is a tray of 12 small tins. They are not ringpull, slightly awkward to open as they are small. Quality of this brand is always good.

The tins are less than half the size of the normal tins

Pilchards on toast! With wholemeal bread, a little lettuce and slices of tomato ,one of these small tins provides a healthy and tasty meal for a pair of pensioners or one hungry teenager!
