Very nice set of steps. Easy to assemble and works great. The width of the steps are great. Easy to pour sand in them but make sure sand does cover area when arms need to be assembled.

They worked fantastic for my Pool. We filled them with water and then we purchased the extra sandbags to go on each side and you’re very sturdy people like to sit on them in the pool and the blue stairs was a nice addition.

Pro - one of the easiest assemblies you will ever have. Lightweight. Cons - it’s a floater. Even with a 25 pound sand bag on each side it wants to float. Hard to get it under the water. Even with the sandbags and anchored to the deck it has not bottomed out entirely. I can slide the pad around that it is supposed to rest on underneath it without lifting up on the stairs. Would have liked a place to hang the sandbags from under the stairs. Might have helped. After going from a metal railing anchored solidly to the deck to these, the railings feel flimsy. I would not want someone using them as leverage to pull themselves out of a float or out of the pool. Warning - if your deck does not sit flush with your pool you may not be able to anchor it to the deck. If the leading edge of your deck is more than 8 inches away from where you railing posts will be you will be limited to using only 1 or 2 of 6 screw holes on the anchors. If it’s more than 10 inches away you should look for alternatives.or you’ll be trying to figure out how to MacGyver it you your deck.

Sturdy, easy to assemble and especially like the ability to close the pool without removing the entire ladder

Instructions are misleading, says you have 3 options, fill with sand, or fill with water or use weights. Nowhere does it tell you water will seep into the sand. My thinking was it was airtight to add sand like I wanted to so I could control the weight for winter removal. But water wetting the sand will make this a nightmare to remove and a possible mess. Instructions should read 3 options, fill with water only, or sand water mix or weights.

Very nice ladder for my above ground pool. Fit well to the deck. Happy with it so far.

Not Safe for bigger people, made of vinyl not sturdy rails, may collapse if leaned on for support going up or down stairs. Stairs feel very soft and especially in the heat. Plastic or Vinyl will not last long, it isn't what we expected. Very unsafe product and disappointed, stability and especially the rails will not support someone if they fall sideways, even to pull yourself up, you feel like they are going to squeeze and flop off sideways. I weigh 215 and I can't even imagine this working for people that weigh the 350 to 400 lbs that this claims is safe. Put in for return and was only given 1 label for a 2 box return of two large boxes. Seller never provided second label. We are now keeping this piece of $4It because no return labels, only 1, not two and i don't feel even if we return it we will be given our money back because this has happened in the past with 3rd part sellers, I thought I already learned this lesson, but here we are again. We are out over 500 bucks, thanks for your great support Amazon for following through, NOT! After contacting customer support they passed the buck back to the seller who approved return on the Amazon site, but did not provide return labels. Do not deal with this seller or buy this product. We have been prime members for as far back as I can remember and sometimes Amazon will let you down. Do not buy from Vendors that are not Amazon directly. This is the third time in about 12 years where we have had problems with third party sellers and returns, so 3 isn't bad, but these items from third party sellers, you need to be very careful due to either wrong items being shipped, and then when you return it, they can say we never got it back because you weren't sent the correct item originally. So far in 12 years or so, we have had 3 really bad vendors over that span, I would consider this item unsafe and shouldn't be sold unless checked by the U.S. consumer product safety commission.

The steps are great for getting in and out of the pool, especially for those of us who need more stability getting in and out! We used pool weights filled with rocks to help keep it stable.
