These were a perfect replacement for very old and very worn out original plugs that came with the toilet. They require a bit of force and patience to hammer down into a hole (make sure to use rubber mallet and coat the plugs in vaseline or washing liquid) but if you follow Gush website instructions you should be fine. Seller was great and helpful too so all in all an excellent buy.

The product seems good if a little pricey, however after installing it using some silicon lubricant and using a piece of wood and a hammer, had to take out the bolt holding the seat in place, as soon as i did that the brass insert fell out and is now inaccessible as its fallen into the pan, will have to cut out one insert and will have to buy another set, beware that if you remove the bolt this may happen to youUpdate, have moved up to 5 stars after leaving initial review, seller has sent me 2 more in the post after i contacted them, excellent customer service, it really is the sturdiest plug available

This was a lifesaver because it helped me out when I had to replace a toilet seat. One of these fittings had threaded and the screw wouldn’t stay inside the toilet seat move and the seller I bought the toilet seat from explained to me sadly he didn’t have any, but recommended the link to me on Amazon helped me out immensely.

Tried 3 or 4 sets of similar items to fix our wonky toilet previous to these and nothing worked.These have now been in for around 2 weeks and are rock solid, very pleased! No bolts included so you’ll need your own.Easy to install with a very small amount of lubricant (I just smeared a tiny bit of soap on them) and a form tap with a mallet and a piece of wood :)

Not the best of things to fit but works brilliantly

Well, I bought these 8 months ago. I coated them in fairy liquid and tried bashing them in with a thick piece of wood and a mallet!!!! Well the inevitable happened of course. I got so cross and frustrated with them because they wouldn't go in that I ended up bashing hell out of my poor pan and it cracked nearly all the way down. So, after a very expensive home insurance job I didn't dare try again but didn't want to return them so they sat in my 'toilet fixings' box. Now to present day, the toilet seat on my new loo went skewiff. If there is one thing I cannot stand it is a squiffy toilet seat. The holes in the pan looked a bit bigger so I resolved to try the seat fixings again. This time I did as Gush advise and I put them in boiling water for only a few minutes. This made a world of difference and I was able to successfully push them in by hand. Not so easy they aren't tight but nice and firmly and of course tighter once they cool. I am astounded it was that easy and if only I had done what Gush said first. I'm not one for reading instructions first, only if all else fails! So, I now have a firmly fitted toilet seat that won't move in a month of Sundays and I am now going to purchase a second set for my other toilet. Very pleased and worth the money.

I wish I had seen these before I spent money on others that just don't work. I found these went in very easily with a mallet, a chunk of wood in between & vaseline on the plug. They hold the toilet eat very tight & I couldn't be happier. I totally recommend this product. The screws also come with it so no need to buy them separately.

These seem high quality. The plastic material however is very rigid, making it potentially very difficult to fit, depending on how much enamel glazing has run into the fitting hole during the manufacturing of the toilet bowl.Tons of stars and a big 'thank you' to Gush Bathrooms who provide detailed instructions about this problem on their website.I managed to get the fixing in by first heating in boiling water for 5-10 minutes, then taking a wood board and leaning on it.Zero points to Duravit for not giving any tips about this along with the product.
