But, if I remember right, the two narrowest strings G and A (they are identical for this package) are on either end. The fattest one is the C string, third string (from right to left). The E is the 2nd string. Change on string at a time to keep tension on the instrument. Youtube has lots of tutorials to help you. **Q: do you have low G for tenor?** A: I have. I found that some pieces don't sound as good with a low g. So, I have pretty much returned my tenors to high g. They do take a good while to stretch and keep tune , but worth the effort . ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ The are an ok set of strings that do the job *by S***R on 8 April 2024* I can't comment on the longevity yet but they do feel like they will be ok for that. After a while you get a sense for how long a string will last and these do feel quite nice. It's hard to keep them in tune but I've experienced that with every set of nylon strings I've ever purchased. The only problem I had with them is the string that's labelled to be strung on the 1st or 3rd string seems way to thick to be used as the 3rd. When you put it in place and tighten it to an E it just feels way to tight and the 2nd string (the D string) feels way to lose.
