I don’t have any problem with the figurine queen. Delivery updates were absolutely useful all along the way. The project was done and the queen is at her best spot. However the reason I gave 4 stars because I saw it cheaper in a local shop. I was lucky that I didn’t buy any more further online. So I got the king, some knights as well. It did arrived on time. I understand that the price I paid covered the postage. But I would have preferred to say how much we paying for P&P that’s all. Otherwise thank you.

a good sturdy product that the children get much joy from, not cheap but somethings are worth paying for i think.

De fraaie figuren van Papo zijn een must voor mij als bouwer van houten speelgoedkastelen.

Wir lieben Schleich und Papo, Kinder spielen Stunden damit - wobei jeder Mitspielen darf, vom Elefanten, Löwen, Zebra über Hund und Pferd bis hin zum Ritter, dem Drachen und der Prinzessin. Im Toys 'r us gibt es zudem eine Ritterburg aus Holz, die genau für die Papo und Schleich-Figuren gemacht ist. Da darf eine Königin nicht fehlen. Figuren haben gute Qualität, sehen schön aus (wie am Bild) und halten sehr gut.

Comme commander, anticiper et amuse les enfants

I actually bought this figurine about three years ago, and she is still played with on a regular basis. At the time of purchase, I bought the queen to "authenticate" a wooden castle I had purchased for my toddler. The combination (along with a king, etc.,) deeply impressed my older daughter--then about eight years old and generally disdaining of anything that suggested "toddlerhood", but who nevertheless played with the queen on the sly-- and delighted my little one (then almost three). So the queen survived the toddler years... Suffice it to say, this queen has frequented castles, doll houses, and has been the doom of lego villages. She is extraordinarily well made: the figurine has been bathed almost daily in bubble bath for over two years now (yes, she has now been regulated to the status of bath toy); despite this, she has not lost a single detail to the overall furnishings and original colors of her garment. And the details, for a figurine, and especially one of this price, are exquisite: she seems to be wearing layers of clothing, and one sees the ridges/crinkles in the dress; her hands are delicate and she possesses an expression of serenity (not that my children noticed these things). At present, my (now) near 12-year-old wouldn't mind using her as a decor element in her room (albeit towards the back of a bookshelf!), but her (almost) six-year-old sister still insists on playing with the queen in the bath, and my 18-month daughter is starting to show an interest in the figurine. The queen has faired better than most barbie dolls, and has received more attention than any of the American Girl dolls owned by my daughters. I believe she'll survive at the hands of my third daughter, and I think this says quite a bit about the quality of the figurine as well as the many different ways in which the figurine may be used: imaginative play inside (from castle to bathtub) and outside the house--she has been buried in sand and in dirt-- and she's so easy to pack (along with a handful of other figurines) for weekend trips to Grandma's and since she and the other figurines don't come with loads of accessories, we don't forget anything as we pack to come home. Would I buy her again? Yes, but I don't need to, for this queen has been built/modeled as a survivor, assuming nobody gets the "brilliant" idea to see how she fares in the fire, gets picked on as a "chew toy" by the dog, or becomes a "science" experiment--I have seen other figurines (by Schleich and Papo) go down in this manner by children who are keen to test the limits of things, but I digress. Apart from that, the thing seems to be indestructible.

Les figurines Papo que j'ai achetées sur le thème chevalier sont très bien réalisées (roi, reine, Merlin, archer, cavalier fantôme ...). Elles font 9 centimètres de hauteur, ce qui permet une bonne prise en main, que ce soit par les enfants ou les adultes. Les détails sont assez bien faits. Attention toutefois de ne pas les confier à un enfant trop jeune ou trop brutal :o) L'ensemble des figurines fait une jolie collection pour un prix très intéressant.
