Yes, but it seems to require the use of the remote. I have it hanging inside my garage with the solar panel outside and it works fine, though I must admit I have relegated myself to using it as a motion light most of the time because I’m lazy and don’t want to use the remote to cut it on.

How do i get it to stay on?

Once you let it charge up by the sun . You Puc ha button right in the middle of the light. But it has to be about 6 hours directly from the sun on the solar panel.

No, I don't believe this will work for that purpose. You need to look for "solar powered full spectrum grow light". This unit just has regular white light LEDs.
