Fine sifting, smooth operation
I do a lot of baking and I am very pleased with the 3 Cup Flour Sifter. I love that it is large enough to handle 3 cups without making a mess. The flip-over wire and hand crank reminds me of being in my grandmother's kitchen making cookies or perogies. I ordered this style because of my grandmother and because my previous one was a hand-squeeze type that did not last so I figured a different type may work better. In my pics, I tried to show the before and after sifting flour. It does an excellent job of fine sifting, breaking up any clumps plus sifting ingredients like flour, salt and baking soda together. I found it easy to use, gentle on my hands and quick to wash up. For quality, materials, design and value I give 5 stars.

Great sifter
I use fresh milled flour for bread and baking. Sifting is essential for success and this sifter works perfectly.

Just right!
Item arrived promptly, well packaged and in good condition. I'd buy it again, but the last one lasted 30 years, and if this one does as well, it'll probably last longer than I will.

The best rust-free sifter ever
These work so well, and have facilitated many bakes. They wash nicely on the air-dry setting in the dishwasher, and show no signs of deformation, rusting, or falling apart. At first, turning the crank was sketchy, but I pressed the mesh down approximately 1mm, and they now work perfectly. Before, I’ve had some that rusted completely in a short period of time, but not these.

Decent sifter, but flimsy
Here’s a quick pros and cons list before I get into the full review: PROS: - Sifts flour well - Comfortable to hold - The handle makes sifting a bit easier (no need to keep tapping the sides of the sifter, just have to turn the handle) - Easy to clean CONS: - Handle is flimsy- I don’t fully trust it to not break - Can’t add too much flour at a time or it will spill out of the handle holes on the sides of the sifter - The turning whisk portion inside the cup sometimes gets stuck, causing flour to go flying out - Handle doesn’t turn smoothly and it makes a scratchy noise against the mesh when sifting I bought this sifter to use with flour that I grind myself, and so far it does a good job at ensuring that none of the larger pieces of wheat berries end up in the bowl. However, I have discovered a few issues that make it a bit more difficult to use than I was expecting. Firstly, if the cup is filled up to the handle portion, flour will actually spill out of the holes on the side where the handles are attached as the handle is being turned. Secondly, the handle itself feels very flimsy- I didn’t trust it to not break when I was turning it normally, so instead I ended up turning it as close to the cup as I could. Lastly, the biggest issue I encountered was that because the handle doesn’t turn smoothly, sometimes the whisk portion gets stuck when being turned and it causes the flour in the cup to go flying out, making a mess. The way I have found to prevent this is to only add a small amount of flour at a time instead of filling it up like I originally tried to do. This is a bit more time consuming, but it’s the only way I have found that (usually) prevents the flour from flying out and prevents it from spilling out of the handle holes. Overall, I think this sifter sifts just fine, but it has a few flaws that make the process a little bit trickier than I was expecting. If you’re someone who is okay with the flimsy handle and the thought of the occasional mess that may result from this sifter, then this sifter would work just fine for you.

Perfect as part of my oat flour grinding process
It was taking too long to grind oats in my kitchen aid mill grinder, so I decided to buy a sifter to sift the flour that was ground enough. This made the entire process take hours less! This was perfect as it actually moves the flour this the finer particles could pass, also if it did happen to break up the coarser grains that is a plus! Anything that didn't pass through the sifter simply got ground again until it passed though.

Would not recommend
I have not used product, it arrived out of shape, I guess this is due to the very cheap metal used. It looks fairly flimsy and unsure how long this product Will last. Great idea, but unfortunately the quality is questionable. Really light weight, and little confused about the reviews I read, not what I expected. I cannot comment on performance.

Fantastic
Up until I bought this sifter, I had the kind of sifter that you need to squeeze the lever on the inside of the handle. I found that it took quite a long time to sift the flour. I have quite a bit of arthritis in my fingers. Yesterday was the first time that I used the hand crank model. Super results. In no time at all, I had sifted 2 cups of flour. It is a much better and faster way for me to sift baking ingredients for me.
