MILESEEY S7 Outdoor Laser Measure with Viewfinder Camera for Pro & DIY Use

Bought it on a whim and now I reach for it all the time. Way faster than a tape measure just point and done. It’s been accurate for everything I’ve tried, and not having to deal with batteries is a plus. Bright sunlight makes the laser a bit harder to see, but indoors it’s perfect. Really handy little tool. Would recommend for others to get in construction.

This laser measure works really well and is super easy to use. It gives fast and accurate results, even for long distances. I like the screen because it’s clear and easy to read, and the camera helps me aim better outside. The rechargeable battery is very convenient, so I don’t need to keep buying batteries. It feels strong and works great for home projects or bigger jobs. I’m very happy with it!

The following is a review and comparison of three of the newer Laser Distance Measuring devices available for contractors and homeowners, from least expensive to most expensive: 1. Mileseey S50 a. Of the three devices tested this newest Mileseey Tools device has by far the best and most understandable menu system, good enough that you could pick it up after six months of no use and make successful measurements. b. It also is a bit bigger than their S7 and uses AA batteries rather than the smaller AAA, and so has more than twice the capacity (4-6 amp hr). This is an advantage because the S7 will run out of power in an hour or two of use. Both unites however have replaceable batteries so that they can be replaced on the job site. c. Do not believe the 400 foot measuring distance claim or that their new green laser is better than their red laser in the older S7, because it is not. The best you can do outside in normal light with this device is perhaps 50 to 75 feet, unless you are inside and in a darkish space. As an indoor measuring device however this is a stand out, outdoors not so much. 2. Mileseey S7 a. This is their older AAA laser measuring tool and includes a range finder spotting camera with only 2x magnification. This type of camera spot finding measurer is the only thing that works down range outdoors, as it lets you spot distant objects where the laser dot is no longer visible without strong binoculars or a telescope. b. The red laser used in the S7 is much easier to see than the green one used in the S50 at maybe twice the distance. This is not what the advertising would have you believe but it is much better. This is probably the same laser that they use in their much more expensive professional model. c. The down side of this device is that the batteries do not last very long and the screen necessary for the camera spotting image is not bright enough for outdoor use on a sunny day. This is perhaps to save battery drain. They really should change this to a brighter screen and the larger AA batteries and menu's of the S50 and provide 1x 2x and 4x magnification like the Huepar Pro, and it would be a much better device. 3. Huepar Pro SW-100GQ 100 meter Laser a. Currently this or the 150 meter version (for another $35) is probably the best for outside work on a normal day. The screen is brighter and it has a much more useful 1x 2x and 4x magnification selectable camera/spotting scope. So this device works well indoors and out. b. The batteries are not removable so when it runs out you have to charge it up and it will run out in an hour or so of steady use. c. The on device menu is hard to understand without a manual (and youtube tutorials) which leads to frustrating error codes Err 1 - Err 8, & "Pythagoras Error"??? d. If Huepar were to switch to replaceable AA battery power source and a more decipherable menu system and error codes this would be the hands down favorite laser for indoor and outdoor.

The laser measure does work well and the camera is a convenient option. I purchased this about a year ago but rarely use it because the battery life is so poor. This was supposed to be rechargeable but it is not and it states “do not charge, no rechargeable batteries”. By the time I noticed this, the return window had closed.

I am an architect and researched options for outdoor measuring with a screen - for without a screen it is impossible to see the laser from any real distance if you are by yourself. I selected this one but had to return it immediately. The screen is barely visible in outdoor shade, let alone outdoor sun. I would not recommend this product.

I was able to use it after charging it and it seemed to work very well with little to no training. I got it to use outside in the sun were others were not woking and was pleasantly surprised. I was mesuring things 280 feet away and it worked, I did not check it for accuracy at that distance but am confident it is accurate enough for me. Great product.

Ich habe den Laser-Entfernungsmesser bei meiner Sanierung genutzt und bin damit sehr zufrieden. Gerade beim Ausmessen von Räumen, Wandflächen und Abständen ist das Gerät wirklich praktisch und spart viel Zeit gegenüber einem normalen Zollstock oder Maßband. Die Messwerte wirken zuverlässig und für meine Zwecke absolut genau genug. Die Bedienung ist einfach und schnell verstanden. Das Display ist gut ablesbar und die zusätzlichen Funktionen wie Flächen- und Volumenberechnung sind bei Renovierungsarbeiten sehr hilfreich. Auch die Handhabung ist angenehm, da das Gerät kompakt ist und gut in der Hand liegt. Für den Preis bekommt man hier meiner Meinung nach ein sehr brauchbares Messgerät, das seinen Zweck zuverlässig erfüllt. Ich würde es für Heimwerker, Renovierungen und Sanierungsarbeiten auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.

Ik had jaren eerder een laserafstandsmeter moeten kopen. Het werkt zo simpel en snel. aanzetten, richten, op de knop drukken en klaar met meten. Vooral een stuk handiger als je afstanden meet veel langer dan je rolmaat is. Je kan hem ook automatisch oppervlaktes laten berekenen en gemeten waardes optellen.
