Very good protection, if you need it!
Very good foam protection for a fall on your head. Before I bought this helmet, I actually did have that kind of fall (I passed out) and ended up with surgery because of Internal bleeding. This helmet can be very good protection!

Big but not big enough!
Item was purchased by a friend but size doesn't fit. Although the largest available, not suitable for large heads

Works well enough
Very well cushioned. Only shortcomings are the chin straps need to be tied manually. Could improve on this by attaching hook/loop or small plastic latches at the end of the straps.

They are for my brother
My brother had an accident at his house and he fell and he hit the back of his head so he had a brain injury. He had an operation and for him not to for his own spot where they took the skull a piece of skull out. he loves the hat and I bought him this gray one and the brown one so he won’t take it off. He loves them and I really really appreciate that you make these hats and thank you so much.

The right tool for the job.
This piece of protective equipment is the best I have encountered to prevent injury to the crown and top of my head when I fall or "take a header" into a desktop or counter top due to my Parkinson's or Narcolepsy. The closed cell foam is thick enough to distribute the energy of impact, even when the point of contact is edged or raised, and it is broad enough that I have not experienced any contact to unprotected skin. The "hat" is light weight and cool enough to wear for long periods - a real drawback to hard-shell designs like bicycle helmets. I have thus far been able to wash away anything which has soiled it. The item comes with two "tie at the bottom" chin straps, which I removed. It's only "blem" is it's goofy appearance. More than once I have neglected to take it off when opening the door to retrieve the mail, to the concerned alarm of my poor mail lady. On the whole, not a war-stopper. I highly recommend this item.
