I am not a pro (anymore, was in the field 30 years ago). But I have a lot of HVAC projects on cars and my buildings. I was tired of the old style in accurate steam gauges. I admit this has more features and some are for the advanced user and over my head. BUT, I used this one on a split unit, a conventional home HVAC and vehicles. ( R-410A, R22, R134-A). I usually always prefer charging units by weight. But there are occassions its not practical, i.e. minor top off. The superheat and subcooling read outs are so easy to do and automatically calculated. Not cheap but it paid for itself already. Review: Item recieved in good order - After reading some mixed reviews I was a little hesitant ordering this from desertcart but decided to just roll with it, the product was unopened with all pieces and manuals untouched, serial numbers were active and the warranty card was accepted on fieldpiece's website. Will update my review if there are problems in the future but as of today I am happy with my purchase. 4 Stars leaving room for field test will update to 5 stars if item stand the test of time part warrently period. ## Features - SMAN Manifold Micron Gauge (3 Port) - Newly designed SMAN manifold - Replacement for SMAN300 series - Three valve manifold with micron gauge - Toughest, most advanced digital refrigerant manifold on the market ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B07QJ7P63Z | | Brand | Fieldpiece | | Brand Name | Fieldpiece | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 445 Reviews | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00872641003951 | | Included Components | Micron gauge | | Item Dimensions | 28.6 x 31.8 x 12.7 Centimeters | | Item Type Name | manifolds | | Item Weight | 5.4 Pounds | | Item dimensions L x W x H | 28.6 x 31.8 x 12.7 Centimeters | | Manufacturer | Fieldpiece | | Material | Metal | | Material Type | Metal | | Model Number | SM380V | | Number of Items | 1 | | Part Number | SM380V | | UPC | 872641003951 | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Fieldpiece - **Material:** Metal - **Item dimensions L x W x H:** 28.6 x 31.8 x 12.7 Centimeters - **Item Weight:** 2.45 kg - **UPC:** 872641003951 ## Images ![Fieldpiece SM380V SMAN manifolds, black - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61hxFnVkuCL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: does this connect to the fieldpiece app?** A: Yes it does. **Q: can i use this for R600 refrigerant?** A: Yes **Q: The unit uses wired thermocouple not thermistor probes and these do need calibaration. Is this saved after shutdown ?** A: Yes calibration is needed but maybe once every 2 months or whenever you feel like it’s off. You can test them by clamping them on an object which will all know the temp to be. Like ice which is 32 degrees. There’s a menu on the gauges for it. Also check out YouTube for a quick 2 minute video about it. Oh an if you rather wireless probes you can go out and add them to this gauge . It’s up to you **Q: is this bluetooth to smart phone** A: Description says it has wireless range of 350 ft. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Truly a pro tool. *by T***N on 29 November 2023* Excellent.
