Works as it should and looks great
received the light and was impressed on the actual function of it. I installed it as per the instruction manual and recently we had an outage and it came on ! best thing about it was it lasted the whole time the power was out and you cant tell the difference between this light and all my other ones. fits in perfectly. all around 5 stars !

Hard To Install, Battery Will Not Charge, Not Worth The Price
Clips would not align properly with the recessed light housing can. One clip was already broken off at clip connector to the light, and the other one I had to break it off and rig it so both clips would align and catch. Was a struggle to get the light to stay up in the ceiling. But eventually got it to stay put.After 2 weeks' usage, I tested the emergency light by turning off the power to the can. The light would not turn on, neither with the wall switch on, nor with it off.The light does work as a regular light, but at 3 times the price of an non-emergency light, that performance is totally unsatisfactory.

GREAT BATTERY BACKUP LIGHT !!!
This is the coolest thing ever. I have the light installed in my kitchen among the other recessed lights, and when I have a power outtage....this light STAYS ON! Very helpful during a storm.

Good idea but did not work out.
It’s a good idea but did not work our. Quality is poor battery did not last. Less then six months and it’s not working. Will not buy again. Not recommended.

Bad design
The clips that hold it in the ceiling aren’t sting enough. This causes it to sag out of the hole. The light I replaced it with had a better/stronger clip that held it tight to the ceiling.

Stays on all night!
I put one of these in the bathroom which is dark when the power goes out. Especially at night. It stays on all night. Can’t be turned off when you go to bed.
