Bulk Tutto Calabria Crushed Calabrian Chili Peppers 2.8 kg (98.7 oz)

There is something special about the Calabrian chili. It adds a flavour and heat level that is just plain different from other chilis. A great addition to many dishes from a traditional slow cooked chili to replacing a tomato base on pizza. Sadly, my restaurant connection fizzled out where I was buying 2 of these containers for only $10 dollars more than the one on Amazon. I did however learn that you can stretch the crushed chilis by adding some neutral oil like sunflower and then jar it up like you would a homemade jam. Lots of little jars of goodness awaiting new ideas.

happened upon this product and nothing has come close or tasted as great since. it’s a perfect compliment to many dishes, sandwiches, and salads. without a doubt recommended for those who enjoy hot condiments on everything they eat.

These peppers are amazing but this packaging is total trash. It isn’t even sealed so they put the entire tub inside a plastic bag. The peppers leaked all over the inside of the bag. It’s a complete mess. Tried to save money by buying in bulk. Won’t buy this again.

Lid does not seal tight in a plastic bag to prevent from leaking all over inside of boxed shipped in. Be ready to clean up a oily mess when opening.

use it to make my own pepper sauce for salami....no,they are not whole peppers but that is fine....great flavor and value
