Wasn’t sure how these would be after ordering them, but surprisingly they ended up fitting like the originals and so far have not leaked.

Perfect fit in a 2007 Buick Lucerne 3.8L engine. Infinitely better than the plastic parts the factory installed. Took me about three hours to R&R these. You can find the service manuals online. Hints: 1. Drain some of the coolant to minimize spills. 2. Take note of the serpentine belt routing. 3. Use a torque wrench. 4. Use anti-seize on bolts that thread into aluminum.

These are great upgrades for the 3.8ltr V6 motors that these come on. The factory ones are plastic and can crack and leak with age, and when that happens, it must be fixed. Instead of reinstalling the plastic ones, this part is the upgraded fix. You Must be at least mechanically inclined to perform this upgrade repair, otherwise please hire an experienced automotive mechanic to do this repair. These are fantastic upgrades and these won't crack like the plastic ones do and will last a long time. They are inexpensive and well worth it. A+

Installing these went fairly well, after cleaning up the holes they slide into. I had to replace the lower intake gasket so it's a sure thing to replace these at the same time. I did have to grind some rough edges on one to get get it to fit. No big deal.

These aluminum elbows are a must have for any General Motors owners who have the factory plastic elbows. The factory plastic elbows will fail. They may fail on your family vacation or a hunting trip, it is not a matter of if, it is a matter of when.. These aluminum elbows are an inexpensive upgrade to permanently fix a know issue.

The elbows are the cat's meow. They are a no-brainer replacement for those leaky plastic original ones. Advice from a mechanic friend he told me to use some Ultra Black RTV on the ends and they slid right in place. (Put the elbows in the tensioner unit first, then install to the engine). If you have broken ends in the holes you can pry them out carefully with a slot screwdriver. Scotchbrite the holes when they are cleared. Also, watch youtube videos first, it will help you a lot !
