WüsthofClassic 9" Carving Knife

This is probably the third or fourth addition to my Wusthof knife collection. Got it as a Treasure Truck special, and I'm so glad I did! The large carving knife is incredibly sharp and beautifully balanced. I wasn't expecting the "bonus" knives to have plastic handles, but the blades are also really sharp. The big knife alone was worth the cost, so I'm OK with the other knives having plastic handles.

I've always wanted a decent carving knife and I got this when Amazon had a flash sale.Still a bit too pricy for me but it cut my Thanksgiving turkey like butter. I also like the size, not too big and not too small to maneuver around the turkey, chicken and prime rib.I also love the bonus paring knives that came with the order. They seem very sharp and I use them everyday to cut up my fruits and vege.

This is a great carving knife. My food-snob cousin visited and used the knife and could not say enough good things about its performance. I really like its length which is more than long enough to carve any types of meats I my be cooking in the kitchen. Super sharp. It feels really precise in hand and is very well balanced. A real good weight for its size.

I've had wusthof knives for 2 dozen years...and I've never had a knife this long. It's perfect for slicing meats and will, I'm sure hold a blade for years to come.If you're wondering whether or not to buy expensive knives, I say go for it. Skimp elsewhere. You'll make this purchase once in your life!

Love this instrument of precision cutting; perfectly balanced and razor sharp. For those who have demonstrated knife skills and kitchen experience. At any level of experience a kevlar glove is a wise investment if you like your appendages where they are because this will remove them with no resistance at al.

The smaller knives are very sharp but look cheap. Something from the dollar store. Which they were nice like the large knife.

Great value for a high quality knife, and a couple free steak knives also. I was looking for that one special knife that I could use for trimming and slicing, and this is perfect. Really sharp, well made, and good looking.

The balance and control of the knife is great. Not quite large enough tang to become the workhorse of the kitchen but is close. Love it so far and can see ordering this knife again.

Quality knives that will last forever if taken care of. I avoid the dishwasher. Soap water and a sponge is all you need. Hand towel dry and ready for next time.

I received it couple of weeks later I ordered according to the tracking it works and I will use it for animals to cut/butcher.Thank you very much.

I do not like this .Because the packaging is damaged.There is no good protection.There should be no such defects.

This knife has changed my life I’ll be getting a full set. Be careful not to split an atom with this thing it’s sharp
