ANVIL BLADESMITHS - KRAKEN - Fixed Blade Knife (BLACK G10 BLACKOXIDE)

The knife is well made if a bit on the heavy side . Fit and finish are good and the design/size a close to ideaj. A bit lighter on the hip would be welcomed. The sheath is junk for a blade of this quality/weight. needs a MUCH stronger sheath(preferably Kydex)

I ordered the ANVIL BLADESMITHS - KRAKEN in BLACK G10 BLACKOXIDE last week. It just arrived in the mail. Upon inspection I am very impressed with the quality of this knife - the chunky design feels solid and comfortable in the hand (especially if you have larger hands); thick, full tang 440C blade stock propagates a sense of strength and durability. G10 scales and blackout finish look even better in person than the photos. I am very much looking forward to using this knife on camping trips. I had no previous knowledge of Anvil Bladesmiths before coming across them on Amazon but am now considering buying another knife of theirs - every aspect of this product and purchase exceeded my expectations. Well done, Anvil!
