This is a great little knife...sort of a modern gentleman's folder. The edge was reasonably good out of the box, and the blade has a nice thick spine for such a slim profile. I'm taking off one star because of the thumbstud; it's too close to the pivot to get good leverage, even after I took a Torx screwdriver and loosened the pivot screw a touch. The blade lacks a nail nick, which makes the thumbstud placement a lititle bit more of a pain.

I so wanted to give this knife a 5 but it’s sooo hard to open it’s almost not useable. I think the put the thumb nub to close to the end of the blade so it will not swing out. Otherwise it’s a beautiful knife.

Very cool little knife. It is made in china, which was kind of surprising to find out. The description made it sound like a knife coming out of some upstart artisian workshop or something. Perhaps the design did, but the knife didn't. That said, it is well made. The addition of a pocket clip would have earned it 5 stars
