In training I found this was far better than an arm band - these tend to be hard to set at the right tension without it either cutting off your blood supply or slipping down, plus you also do not have to decide which layer of clothing to adorn it. Many of my training runs were in torrential rain and I was so delighted my precious phone did not even look damp or steamy which, considering how thoroughly wet I was alongside the sweaty heat I was producing, was commendable. Ok the downside... my only complaint would be that whatever they use to line the pouch (which, by the way, can hold quite a lot) has stained my cheap white headphones a murky red/brown so I would have been really upset if they were worth more. Either use black headphones or be prepared for them being discoloured! For me though I was so impressed by the belt that stays in place whilst you run, stays dry whatever the weather and holds all your bits that I can forgive this aspect.
