It’s Fun to Watch
I little tricky find where the batteries went. Pull clear fins off and pull very hard tho separate body. Love the design but no insulation. Lol. This thing hits the water and keeps going. And NO on off switch. Heavy duty little guy. Plus I’ve only just received today and love this toy!!!! Grandkids haven’t seen this yet so it will be interesting to see how it fairs. Sept 2023 new review This little shark is fantastic. I can’t seem to send the video. It stops for a moment and then takes off. It’s great. The kids love it. We have a dog and somehow dog hair gets entwined in the propeller so we just clean it out. Really a great deal. Buy it 😀

Favorite Pool Toy
Ever since I received my first of these (a different brand that is no longer available), they have been my favorite pool toy (for me as well as the kids and grandkids). I need to replace them every two or three years, as they aren't indestructable. It's very cool how they maneuver under the water, circling around and eventually surfacing. Fascinating!

Surprisingly fun!
I didn't have much expectations for such a cheap toy. But in the end, we are very happy with it and even bought a second. To get to the battery compartment, sort of pull the shark in half. You'll see a seam in the plastic, just wiggle and pull it apart. Thanks to the other reviewer for mentioning that. It automatically turns in once it's in the water or the two rubbery contacts are connected. It moves in a somewhat random direction, but what I found really neat was that it will dive as well. It routinely would dive to the bottom of our 6ft pool and our kids loved chasing and being chased by it. I bought a second to have two going at the same time. It's surprisingly fun and keeps the kids very engaged by either chasing it, even diving down with it, or by trying to track and stay away from it in the pool. Either way, for that price it's great. I don't k ow how long the batteries last, but everything else was great!

Disappointed
I was really excited after reading all the good reviews. Unfortunately mine did not work on first use. Even trying it with different batteries.
