I would have left 5 stars, but the instructions are not very helpful. Fortunately, I have some mechanical experience, and was able to figure it out pretty quickly. I just set it up today, so we’ll see how it does in the long run. I’m on the east side of tornado alley, and do get some serious wind here, along with snow and ice. Overall it seems like a quality product, and it’s the perfect size for my needs. I learned a long time ago with these types of storage systems that it’s best to duct tape all the joints. Helps keep everything in place, and doesn’t allow for damage to the cover during wind. Update: 1/29/26 Well, I didn’t expect to update this quickly, but we just got hit with some of the nastiest weather in some time. Wind, rain, snow, and ice. My bike shed held up well. No issues whatsoever. I’m very pleased with it so far. I keep a Govee in my covered boat, so I can monitor temperature, humidity, and dew point. So I put one in the shed too. Very inexpensive here on Amazon. $10-12 bucks I think is all. The little round one is the ones I use. Been 3 years in the boat and still working perfectly. Anyway, I digress. I highly recommend this little shed. Anxious to see how it holds up in the summer sun.

I ordered the 6' x 8' shelter to store a motorcycle. In my situation, I needed to use this shelter on an asphalt driveway and this required a bit of extra time to build a platform out of treated 2x4's and plywood. This shelter is designed to stake down into the subsurface like gravel or bare ground, but in my case, I used the same attachment holes with screws into the platform. With the extra height of the platform, I only needed to attach the side walls to the side of the platform to ensure the rain ran off and around the platform. It took a bit of engineering, but it worked. It's been through a couple of rainstorms now and no water has entered yet. As a bonus, the dark color absorbs the sunlight and should keep it rather warm inside in the winter-time hopefully fending off any moisture build-up. Regarding installation: what helped me was to pick a warm day so that the material stretched better over the frame. I assembled the entire frame first, stretch the material over it; installed the doors, and then lastly, I fastened the frame down. After installation, I found that one of the zippers was catching and not closing all the way. I contacted customer support and they quickly communicated with me and had a new door sent out in a few days. Excellent customer service!

As you can see by the title, I used this 6 x 8 foot shelter for my motorcycle to protect it from the elements. It was very simple to set up even after I lost the instructions. It’s just a matter of laying it out right and double check you have all the pieces! This shelter is waterproof and can withstand some decent amount of wind, just make sure you secure the post and the sides of the tarp into the ground. Being down in south Florida this is a must, especially with tropical season and wet weather conditions. I also picked this one because of the side panels having breathable mesh openings, but at the same time weatherproof, to help mitigate moisture buildup inside. The only gripe I had about the purchase was the shipping. I work for UPS so I understand when items get damaged in transit and pieces may get misplaced, and that’s exactly what happened to me. I was missing a pole, immediately reached out to the company email listed on the back of instructions. Within 6 hours the company emailed me and was already in the process of sending out a replacement pole! Received the pole 3 days later, remarkable customer service! I would definitely buy this again in the future for either another toy or for lawn care equipment.

I purchased this to replace my previous cover from another brand that only lasted about 2 years before wearing out. This cover seems to be made of higher-quality materials, so hopefully it will last longer. I ended up putting this cover on my existing frame and it fit without any issues. My only "complaint" is that the inside is also dark gray (my previous one was white) and it is pretty dark in there. Fortunately, I have a cheap overhead LED shop lamp hooked up inside the shelter so no big deal. Rolling up the door flap on any of these shelters is also a bit frustrating. The vent does make it a bit more difficult to roll up. Another shelter manufacturer makes a roll up door kit, but it won't work on these shelters because there is a metal rod that slides into a pocket on that brand's shelter doors. You can recreate the system with parts from your hardware store and use a wooden plastic-coated closet hanging rod — you will need to add some weights on each end — and staple the bottom of the door to it. It's not perfect but the door rolls up nice and neat in seconds.

Definitely a 2 person job to assemble. The instructions are good. Tent material installed ok, but not an easy task to get it right. Recommend you get some tent stakes and cord to further secure the structure to the ground
