Value priced, meets or exceeds description, works as advertised and is a value.
I purchase several things on Amazon and was giving pretty in-depth reviews. From this point on, here's the new agenda…. if it works as advertised, is well made, meets or exceeds the description, is a value, and arrives in a fair amount of time, it will get a "star rating" equal to what my expectations were/are. If it doesn't meet these criteria, then I will most definitely and descriptively tell the short comings of the products and you as a consumer will not have to go through the trouble of buying the product without some background knowledge. If the sell pulls that item and relists under another description, I will put the exact same review on the seller's feedback page. Sellers have done this a couple of times in the past, and I was true to my word then as well as now. DR

3/32 parting blade adjustable height tool holder
Bluefox adjustable parting blade tool holder is the answer to one of my prayers. It is made for the 3/32 by 1/2 by 4 1/2 blade…it holds the blade firmly will not let the back end of the blade move or flex like other type blade holders….$40 is a bargain for this adjustable height blade holder……I just wish they made a adjustable 1/8 x 1/2 x 4 1/2 blade holder…maybe they will……..I now get perfect cuts for the projects I work on, no more scrap parts…I am well pleased with my purchase….

seems stable so far.
Haven't used much, but seems like a decent cutoff tool. In case you are newer to some of these tools like me, you'll want to grind a relief in the top of the blade, making sure to take off a bit of the pyramid shape so it cuts properly. Don't need to grind more than maybe 1/4 inch in length.

often better for parting steel than the thin carbide index tools
the 1/8" width cutter is too wide for some steel applications but the 3/32" can work at very slow feed for those jobs ( I have both size tools); both work well for aluminum and softer materials

Not very tough, ended up going a different route

100 characters is not enough to properly describe the product.
This cut-off tool and holder are ideal, as is, or shaped and sharpened on a regular grinder to suit the need at hand. Fits perfectly on standard tool post, and the tool holder holds the cutter very firmly, and cuts cleanly.
