I used to have older version of this mop and bucket set for last 7 years or so, just had to replace mop heads. left it behind when we were moving in July and then treated myself to fancy Vileda turbo mop that I thought will be amazing based on Tik Tok cleaning videos. Hated it! I am now back to this standard Vileda mop and bucket set and couldn't be happier. The quality of product is as great as ever. The mop squeezing attachment has been improved and does amazing job, much better than spinning of the Turbo mop. It also is comparatively more compact. Great product.

I like this mop and bucket set. Easy to put together, the mop wrings out well. Not sure how long it will last, the mop doesn't feel that sturdy, but its easy to use, and I would still recommend this set.

Straight into the main brickbat for this review and it's a serious one because what is a mop without a handle? It looks like Vileda have taken the trouble to construct and include fittings to the handle sections which essentially don't work and the handle sections stay comparatively loose. They stay together for mopping but pulling the assembled handle to release the mop head to change it results in the end section of the handle coming off and the mop head staying put. To remove the mop head it is necessary to bend and pull the bottom section to release the mop head. The bucket however is superb and has a nice section on the bottom into which a hand will fit to hold the bucket in conjunction with holding the handle to pour out the water. I used the mop on wood veneer as well as Lino and it worked reasonably well on both. The wringer on the bucket worked especially well and the floors dried in 10 minutes after mopping. So therefore I would say the mop is suitable for all floors. There was a problem with the broader strands on the mop folding over the top of the mop so I had to continually shake the mop while mopping but that's only a small point. I can't say whether the red spots on the mop collected particles because I vacuumed the floors before mopping. However the red scouring sections worked well in removing ground in dirt and did not leave scratch marks. To recap the set is reasonable quality and works well but it's let down badly by the handle sections. Personally I would have preferred a one-piece handle because I'm not going to store the mop taken apart. I'm going to store it upside down with the mop head at the top so it dries. But I suppose I can glue the sections together.
