Bought this watering can for my strawberries. I like the black color, so it doesn't show dirt marks or scuffs. The 2 gallon size is perfect. The sturdiness is perfect. Not to thick or to thin. No leaks for the spout. Very happy with this water can. Love the hole in the rear of the can. Makes filling easier in the sink or filling from a hose. No fighting with filling like most can's under the handle fill hole. Nice design and happy I made the purchase. Thanks

This is a such a well-designed watering can. I've been through a lot of watering cans over the years. I've learned to buy plastic (metal is too heavy when full) and I've learned not to bother with anything less than 2 gallons unless I want to make multiple trips. My old 2-gallon plastic can, which seems to be ubiquitous at all the local garden shops, has a plastic handle that's hollow inside and shaped like an upside down 'U' so it cuts into your hand when it's full even if you're wearing gloves. It also sloshes water out as you carry it. So I was on a mission to find an alternative. This one ticks all the boxes for me. It has two rounded, solid-feeling handles - one at the top for toting it and a second one at the back you can grab to more easily tip the can as you water. Its other brilliant design is the opening for the water - it is slightly slanted toward the back between the two handles so it's easy to fill because it's not in the way of the handle. Best of all, the opening is slanted toward the back and slightly elevated so the water level in the can is further below it - no sloshing as you walk. I use this can to water my 2nd-floor window boxes from the inside. I fill it under the tub faucet, and then try not to splash water on the floor as I carry it to the windows to water. This can is a big improvement over the old one and it works great. I don't use the sprinkler attachment. The short spout makes it easy to get the water directly on to the soil without drenching the flowers or losing water.

The watering can is heavy duty, but I do not like how slow the water comes out. It seems like it takes a long time to pour the water out. My arm gets tired. My husband does not like the location of the filling hole. He said it is too big and leaves will fall in it along with other debris. Otherwise, I think it is a good.

Ordered this container after my cheap Ace Hardware container sprung a leak. This one is way more heavy duty and solid. Holds the advertised amount and has a nice water dispersal pattern. Perfect size and spout length for what I'm using it for (watering container vegetable plants). Happy with the purchase so far.

Easy to fill, no leaks or drips. Great handle placement for handling & pouring. Like the black color. Water dispersion from shower nozzle is good, very well built and able to screw it into the fill area if desired.

I ordered this watering can to water my vegetable garden on the side of my house. I have a small side yard next to my kitchen where I like to plant tomatoes and other vegetables, since that part of my house gets a lot of sun. But there is no hose bib on that side, so I need to use a watering can in order to take care of my plants. The one I had been using was too small, so I had to refill it several times each day. This new one from Chapin is amazing for several reasons. First of all, it holds 2 gallons of water, so I only have to fill it up twice to water all of the vegetables I’m growing this season. Second, the can is very durable. So even if I drop it accidentally, it will be fine. Third, it doesn’t leak as long as you’re carrying it carefully. This is by far the best outdoor watering can I have ever used, and it has worked great for me since the day I received it. Plus it’s a good deal at the current price.

This is definitely what I was looking for. Thick, sturdy, awesome. Im thinking on another for a spare. Let me explain or justify; Maybe I need another and cant find these particular ones. I've already done the research that you're doing right now, and was rewarded with a successful purchase with a 100% positive outcome! Why do it all over again? So yes, I dont need a second can. I dont anticipate any failures either as this thing's built tough! But what if it gets accidentally run it over? Or maybe some passerby needs it more than I do? I dont want to worry over replacing it. And now that I've found my preferred watering can, Im going to buy a second can to be sure that THIS can will be available to me if something like that occurs. So stop looking, wondering, comparing, all the different watering can offerings. If a 2 gallon can is what your looking for, get this one! Its thick and heavy duty durable! It seems jade to last, but its only been a couple weeks of owning mine. But what you see in the pics is just what it is! Even includes a thick heavy o-ring in the drizzle cap(more like a small grommet) just another durable intention from the manufacturer. I like everything about this can. Really, stop looking already and click the button on this. To me, the only other can I would buy over of this would be only for my own nostalgic reasoning. And that would be one of those old fashioned galvanized steel cans. At SIXTY dollars and more I dont think I'll ever give in to that slight craving. And some if those metal ones don't appear completely sturdy. This can is! This is not a paid review. I dont do any of that. I just talk alot, a lot. And I seem to type out words the same, too many and too much. sorry. But buy thus one!

Awesome plastic watering cans, great size! I would buy them again. So much easier to fill with water because of the brilliant design…the opening being behind the handle, not underneath it, easy to fill with your watering hose or under a sink tap👏😎👌…I give this product a 10/10⭐️.
