These bars are fantastic! I have looked high and low for protein bars that are low sugar/glycemic index and don't contain soy. Rise protein bars fit the bill, and what's more, they do so with only about 5 all natural ingredients. This is amazing considering that almost all other protein bars have about 20 or more ingredients. Another pretty good option are Quest bars, but these taste way too sweet for me and that sweetness taste very fake. Sunflower cinnamon is my favorite flavor, mild and palatable, perfect for breakfast or a quick hit of protein any time. Cashew lemon is also pretty good. I'm not a fan of the other flavors, but you can order a variety pack and see for yourself.

I love it!!!!! I'm on a gluten-free, dairy-free, low glycemic diet and am working out to lose some weight that I put on due to PCOS. I saw this product on Eat This Not That as the one that's best for all purposes, whether it's losing weight, pre-workout, waking up the brain, etc. This bar didn't look very appealing when I first opened it because of its oily, browny surface with no actual ingredients in sight (kind of reminded me of those cockroach bars in Snowpiercer...). But when I tasted it, I fell in love with it! It's nutty, not too sweet and filling. The inside is drier than what I expected, but I slowly broke it into little pieces to play with it with my tongue, melt it, and enjoy each and every bit of it. Updated on the Feb. 26, 2017: So far, I've tried Sunflower Cinnamon, Almond Honey, and Lemon Cashew, and my favorite is the first. It's a bit oilier than the other two but has just about the right moisture in the inside, with the most unique flavor. Lemon Cashew's too chalky for me and Almond Honey is alright, but not as good as Sunflower Cinnamon, in my opinion.

I would give this no stars if possible. I have eaten the carob crunch rise bars regularly and they are pretty good. Filling and not too sweet. I tried these because the carob crunch were not in stock for subscribe and save and these were horrible. I couldnt even finish the first bit. The texture is mealy and dry and the taste is like old cinnamon. Horrible. Avoid at all cost!! Try the carob crunch instead.

I bought these specifically for use in my emergency go-bags. Pro's: 300 calories so they can actually hold you for a while. Most bars are between 150-200 calories. Also, these are not too sweet. And They are pretty well balanced between protein and carbs, which is also important to me. A big mark for them is the ingredients list. I am allergic to soy, gluten, peanuts, corn, and dairy. It's really hard to find protein bars that can handle that criteria - these were one of the few. Cons: they don't taste super delicious. They are ok, not bad. Just not awesome. A little bland. But that is manageable for me. I imagine they would grow on me. Price. They are a bit expensive. But you are paying for quality ingredients so it's worth it. Overall I am very happy with this product.

The quality is great but the flavour is bland and it's really dry (probably the cinnamon). I think it could've used some fruit with natural sugar in it to improve the taste a bit more. I don't think I will buy this again, but I don't not recommend it. Being that it does only have a few ingredients if you are looking for quality and nutrition regardless of flavour, this is the way to go. The reason I went with this product was it wasn't covered in so much chocolate that I was eating a candy bar and it had the highest protein of all the bars I found, so I guess I got the other end of the spectrum!)

The flavor, with natural honey, is so much better than substitutes. We like the flavor, texture, calorie count, and protein content. It is not sticky! Each bar packs energy. Since the ingredients are all natural, the quality is 5 stars. No filling

Its an ok bar if you can stomach the taste. I only ate these when I was truly desperate as the pea protein tastes horrible. I have had other products by this company and enjoyed them way more than this bar. The reason I chose this bar was for the vegan factor but have found way better bars out there with fewer calories and better taste.

Love this brand! It checks all the boxes for me. It's one of my favorite bars anytime of the dayTastes great! I take small bites for an energy boost on breaks during workouts/Pickleball. Nut butter, no artificial ingredients and Non-gmo with no gluten or dairy is a bonus.
